CND CREATIVE PLAY Base Coat

The polish I received with this may have been faulty, I'm not totally sure as it was my first experience with CND. I wanted to love everything, but my polish took 8 coats to get opaque with a couple of sparkles. The base coat I had higher hopes for, but it didn't seem to really adhere to the polish. Everything was fully peeling, even though I had just finished painting, allowed a ridiculous amount of dry time. All I did was take a shower. By day four, they looked as bad as my regular manicure looks at two weeks with hard hand work. Not sure if that's just how these polishes are, or if I was unlucky. -

Unfortunately, even after trying multiple times, this polish just didn't work well at all. I needed 8 full coats for even a modicum of sparkle, and even with that many it was subdued. The black isn't overly pigmented, and the sparkles are so chunky they never fully settle into the polish, and then they catch on everything. The base and top coats were alright, but nothing prevented this from chipping or flaking off. I literally applied, waited for it to dry for hours, took a shower and it was chipping by the time I'd gotten out of the shower. Zero wearability or practicality. I expect two to three coats of polish at a maximum when I do my nails, and then I anticipate at the least, three full days of wear before it chips or lifts. I wouldn't give this to someone or recommend. As one of my first experiences with CND, I would not be apt to try any other products given the performance of Nocturne it Up. I genuinely wanted to love it, but it's only redeeming feature was how it looks in the bottle. -

He was born with a few stomach conditions, and he's terribly skinny and can't eat too much, because he'll bloat out and won't be able to pass any gas. He can't belch or vomit. Being able to incorporate liquid protein helps him to get more nutrition, but fill his stomach less so he's not in pain! -

So the foundation I love is too dark- these bring me up a few shades and fix that. However, they have a stronger smell (some may not be fond of this) and I find them a tad oily. I wish it were a more opaque shade if that makes sense. Regardless... +

It's got chunks of chocolate, cashews, and blobs of sweet and salty caramel all through it, and is so creamy, sweet lord, amaaaaazing. At about $7 a pint, it's a tad pricey, but a delightful treat. -

I actually cry because I can't find this gold anymore. It is so so amazing. I make caramels, pasta sauces, and so many other things with this silky delightful stuff. My only complaint is that it's hard to come by!
