I was so excited for this, as I enjoy McDonald's coffee at the store. However, this instant version really misses the mark for me. It has no strong coffee taste and doesn't have the fragrance of coffee. I followed the manufacturer's instructions (1 heaping tsp) as well as required sleeping it and all I got was bitter water. Unfortunate. -

I appreciated that this only took 90 seconds in the microwave to prepare but it was quite dry after heating it up. Instructions only say to add water if preparing it on the stove but I would add the water I was making this again in the microwave... +
I appreciated that this only took 90 seconds in the microwave to prepare but it was quite dry after heating it up. Instructions only say to add water if preparing it on the stove but I would add the water I was making this again in the microwave. Taste is fine, the spices were quite nice and the grains separated nicely after kneading the package. Nothing too exciting. It definitely needs to be supplemented with some vegetables or protein to help bulk it up. -
