Shadow Insurance is always my go to product when I need a good primer for my eyes. I have used UDPP and Quo Cosmetics Eye Primer but for me both pale in comparison to Shadow Insurance. I find UPDD too pink for my skin and heavy. The color of Shadow Insurance closely matches my own skin tone and gives eyeshadow long lasting staying power on my combination skin. -

I love the Dove Cool Moisture body washes so I recently thought I would try the foaming cleanser in my search to find a good creamy face wash to use in the winter. I was very impressed, the cleanser smelled good and felt really creamy going on. It took off all my makeup that my remover didn't get and left my sensitive combination skin feeling thoroughly cleansed and soft. An added bonus for me is that the cleanser is paraben free. I think I have found my HG of wintertime facial cleansers! -

I love Clinique mascaras and this version my favorite one! I recently got the Dark Honey version for Christmas which gives me thick, full, clump-free aubergine lashes. It is rather pricey at $18.00 but is a nice alternative to some of the higher end brands that cost $30.00 and up. -

This is probably my second favorite place in TO to get my nails done. I love their polish selection and the staff are helpful with advice if you need it. Overall the staff are friendly and professional. Their prices ($40.00 for a mani/pedi combo) won't break the bank with the current economic slowdown. The manicures I have done at Cozy Nails always last the longest hands down. Their decor is not the best ( the all white look can become grungy over time) but you get what you pay for and the prices and service are worth every penny! -

This is my favorite place for a Mani/Pedi when I am in TO. The staff are always helpful, clean and friendly. The decor is fun with lots of natural light. The products used always smell great and my cuticles are in great shape for weeks after a visit. Depending on the service it can be a little pricey so a quickie manicure is a nice wallet friendly alternative. I highly recommend a visit! -
