I thank Spin Master for providing me an evaluation copy to test and provide feedback on this game.
Its a fun concept combining trivia, family and the age old dice into a cute little package. On rolling, the game plays different games and provides audible instructions and prompts. Most of the games are fun and keep the whole family engaged. The voice is peppy and maintains excitement and enthusiasm for kids and adults alike.
I wish the corners were more rounded more padded since the dice does make some sounds as it "rolls" due to its weight(mainly the unavoidable speaker which gives it the loudness it needs).
Still a lot of thought and sensors make this a very interactive and interesting game that keeps the family engaged.
If you're looking for ways to spend quality time with kids, this is an excellent option.

This is such a fun toy for kids. It amalgamates the basics of bowling with the space kids have in their hearts for sharks and out comes a fun little toy named Shark attack. The shark can get quite fast when pulled correctly and my kids,after first few failed attempts were able to release the shark in the right direction consitently. The animation of shark chomping down on a pray happens very inconsistently (hence 1 star docked) but is so cool to look at. Build quality is as good as you'd expect from Spin Master and this the pins/props/victims stay upright even if its slightly unstabe ground or is windy. The packaging is quite attractive which makes it a great gift too. Lots of playability. -

My daughter has a Luvabeau original doll and it has been her favorite toy ever since she got it from Santa last Christmas. It is a bit on the heavier side and the motors are noisier than the baby itself, but is definitely a fun toy.
So, when I got a chance to try the Luvabella Newborn Series thanks to Familyrated, my daughter and me, both were very excited. The Luvabella newborn is much lighter than the original and also smaller. The arms and neck are not motorized and hence not loud and legs are not pose-able to put it in a sitting position. But I guess all of these can be attributed to this being a newborn [Get it? newborns cant sit].
Other than this has so many new and improved features. The body is soft and actually gives the illusion of breathing with a rising and falling chest. One can hear the heartbeat as well when she's sleeping. The natural face expression seem more real than the original and the best thing is this uses AA batteries instead of the C or D size batteries that the original used.
Definitely an upgrade in terms of realism of the baby.

This car seat has really premium fabric and comfort. I tried this car seat with a 10 month old as well as a 6 year old and they were both very comfortable. In most other car seats, my main issue used to be fishing the buckles out from beneath the child making the child very uncomfortable and also used to take a lot of time. Maxi cosi has fixed that with a very simple solution - a spring assisted crotch buckle pad which fans out as soon as it is unbuckled. There are clips on either side to hold the shoulder straps. The magnetic chest lock also helps in quick strap in. The lower LATCH also deserves a special mention. The red clips make unbuckling the LATCH a piece of cake. Just push in the red button and the LATCH unbuckles. This is one product that will last me years and the only car seat I would have needed to buy had I found this sooner. -

The botley is a "coding" robot presenting a screen free option to learn coding.
I have invested in a number of "Smart Toys" ,quite a few of which claim to teach coding. However most of them need an App, and hence a phone/tablet to code. The result? Kids end up closing the app and then going onto watch videos/play other games. Defeats the purpose really.
However the Botley does resolve the issue. It comes with a remote, which lets you provide a series of commands which are then transmitted to the botley.
Although it looks like a r/c toy, its not, in that you are not sending real time commands. You are sending stored commands.The remote also allows for teaching of loop command(via a loop button) and an if-then statement (via the obstacle feature). These are the basic commands in any programming language and hence teaches the child the basics of programming without them realizing it. The additional pieces enable you to create a track/ obstacle course and design new challenges for the kid thus developing problem solving abilities. There is also a follow mode where Botley will follow a drawn black line which is a nice to have feature.
The price seems to be on the higher side, for a toy where there will be no ongoing updates provided via an app or OTA firmware updates. However it is a perfect toy to provide the basics of coding without the need of a screen.

Before I was offered the monarch pillow, I had used a wedge pillow to support my baby bump and then had progressed to a full sized body pillow for full body support. The wedge pillow was comfortable but only useful for a couple of months. The full sized pillow was very comfortable but huge and difficult to store. When I was made aware of the Monarch pillow, I was curious and requested a sample. The Monarch pillow has a unique design with 6 buttons - 4 on corners and 2 on the longer sides. This allows for a number of different combinations to suit your needs. Hence it can be used to support the baby bump, to place between the legs, to prop up the baby, as a tummytime pillow and even as an oversized pillow for the hubby. Fold it any way you like, be creative and use it for any of your comfort needs, It looks good as well so you aren't embarassed of how it looks. The cover is removable and made of super comfortable fabric. Great and innovative product with just one possible deterrent - the price. Though it is worth the price,many families , including mine, wouldnt like to shell out the big bucks unless you actually experience the product. However , now that I have tried it, I would say that it is well worth the price and we will buy it the next time it is needed. -

This a really nice toy which works as a clock for the child's room, a toy with music and also an educational toy with questions. Its very colorful and shaped as a robot, and is very attractive.
It is a functional timepiece as well and educational toy. The best thing I like about it is that only the minute hand moves manually and the hour hand moves based on the minute hand's movement as in a real clock. The digital display also is in sync with the hands and displays the time as depicted by the analog clock.
Its fun, educational and functional - a rare combination at the right price point.

Let me start by saying the packaging is extravagant, both in terms of space economy as well as packaging materials.However this extravagance makes you feel better about the product and feels like the product is worth its price.A lot of thought is put into the product and the experience is pretty close to the real thing. The app provides the scope for further enhancements to the play experience and the connection to the device is pretty stable and quick. All the items are made of really good quality plastic and look like they will stand the test of time. It helped my daughter in identifying and naming various items, in sorting stuff so they go into their right place and counting with the coins and bucks. Its a very well constructed toy with equally well designed app. The conveyor belt works well too and gives a real point-of-sale feel. Each included "food item" has an inbuilt RFID chip which helps in easy scans and that justifies the price tag as well. Another added advantage is the ability to fold to half size for easy storage. Definitely recommended. -

Its a very interesting concept, almost like a potato head that moves. However, the motors and the connections used are not strong enough to sustain any of the "experiments" included. The motor used is very weak and starts stuttering when slightest of pressures(imagine a tissue paper in its path). Even the connections fall apart with too much ease. I understand it should be easy for a 3 year old, but no so easy as to fall apart at the slightest touch. No music to go with is another drawback. My toddler had fun making different permutations of the robot however each time she touched it, it fell apart irritating her in the process.The build quality is good though and it should last until she outgrows it. -
