Also, make sure the bowl is frozen and not out for more than 5 minutes before turning it on or again it won't work. Only tried the ice cream function but it's super easy get the hang of. Certain recipes or functions require a different amount of prep time but the machine's use itself is easy and quick. Lot's of fun with this ice cream maker. -
