Through the product review club I received a box of the Crest 3D Whitestrips 2-hour Express. I followed the directions and applied the strips to my teeth (and my husbands). I really do prefer the advanced seal system versus the regular "keep sliding off my teeth" system. They adhere very well and this is an important feature if you are to leave them on for a 2 hour period.
At around the 1 hour mark both myself and my husband started to have tooth sensitivity. A dull ache that wouldn't let up. At that point I really wasn't sure if I felt comfortable leaving them on for another hour. Both of us persevered until we reached the 2 hour mark.
We were both satisfied with the end results. Our teeth were visibly whiter and brighter. However, we both continued to have tooth sensitivity into the next day. We are now using a toothpaste marketed for tooth sensitivity to try and reverse the pain.
Verdict: Although the strips provided great whitening powers we did not feel that the pain was worth the results. I will stick to the regular Crest Whitestrips which do not cause the same level of tooth sensitivity and provide similar results.

Neutrogena claims that this deep moisture body cream turns even severely dry skin into soft, smooth skin after just one use and I have to agree! My knees have the tendency of becoming dry and chapped especially during the winter months and this product is amazing at keeping the dryness away. After using this product my legs look great and moisturized and stay that way all day long. It is non-greasy and the cocoa, mango and shea butters give it a great scent. I purchased this product at Shoppers Drug Mart for $13.00 CAN.

I received a package of Cottonelle Ultra bathroom tissue earlier this week through the Product Review Club. I usually purchase Kirkland bathroom tissue at Costco and was surprised at what we had been missing. The Cottonelle is very thick and luxurious. With three kids under six we need a bathroom tissue that is not only strong but also soft. This bathroom tissue was a success! The kids are able to cut back on their bathroom tissue usage (number of sheets used) due to it's thickness. Cottonelle Ultra will be our new bathroom tissue and I would definitely recommend switching! -

I purchased the Biotherm Skin Ergetic Day for normal to combination skin to replace my Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum. Skin Ergetic is advertised to reduce the signs of fatigue, smooth, plump and moisturize and give you a radiant-looking complexion. I found that after a few days of using the moisturizer I did notice my skin looked more plump under my eye area and I noticed my complexion looked fresher. Skin Ergetic is a creamy light gel with a citrus scent. I found it very pleasing and it did not bother my allergies. The drawback is the price. I purchased a 50ml jar for $50 CAN (a great deal more expensive than the Boots No7). Even with it's steep price I will continue using it because of the noticeable improvement in my skin's appearance. -

I have been using the Cover Fx Concealer for the better part of a year now. I have very fair, combination skin with the tendency of being very dry especially around my nose. I do not normally wear foundation and usually use the MAC Studio Fix powder. I was very impressed with the coverage of the Cover FX. I use it for my dark, under eye circles and around my nose for the red areas. I prep the area first using the Smashbox Photo Finish. I find the product goes on smoothly and I can blend it in really well. A little product goes a long way. The smell of the product did not bother me. It does however had an oily smell. It was not something that lingered. I would purchase this product again! -

I purchased the Redken Smooth Down Shampoo and Conditioner as part of a dual value pack for $22 CAN. I have used other Redken shampoos and conditioners in the past and I was hoping that I would have success with the Smooth Down combo. I didn't like the fact that the shampoo did not produce a lot of lather. I have very thick, wavy hair and I had to use more product than usual to feel as though I was getting proper shampoo coverage. I was also disappointed with the smell. I didn't find it particularly pleasant. The conditioner was very "thin" and my hair did not feel silky after rinsing it out. After I had dried and straightened my just past my shoulders length hair I felt that I had had much better results with the All Soft line or the Real Control line. My hair was not as smooth and moisturized. I will not purchase this product again. -

I started using Smashbox Photo Finish Primer about a year ago and haven't stopped. I wanted something to help visibly reduce my pores and make the application of my foundation smoother. This product does both of these things for me. I have fair, combination skin that can be very dry and flaky during the winter. This product helps reduce those visible flakes around my nose. I do not find it greasy and I find it actually helps reduce the shine. It does not have a noticeable smell. I have sensitive skin and it has not caused any outbreaks. A great product! -

I have been using the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara for years. I love the soft black colour and I find that applicator brush works well. It is easy to apply and I do not have trouble coating or separating my eyelashes. I have never had any smudging and it is easily removed (I use the Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes). I will continue to by a loyal Maybelline Great Lash customer! -

I purchased the Burt's Bees Baby Bee Bubble Bath for my daughters. I was looking for a bubble bath that not only smelled great but was mild enough to use on their sensitive skin. The Baby Bee Bubble Bath did exactly that. It's truly tear free, 99.08% natural and smells amazing. Even my picky husband loves the smell. I even use it as a shampoo for my 20 month old. I cannot rave enough about this product. It is worth every penny! It even produces a decent amount of bubbles for the bath. -

I purchased the Moroccanoil Limited Edition 4.23 oz with pump with hopes that it would tame my dry, thick hair. I have a natural curl/wave to my hair and I straighten it often with a flat iron. The consistency of the product is what I would expect for an oil. I applied the oil as directed after washing my hair. I loved the earthy, natural smell and it did linger slightly after drying and styling my hair. I did find that the product helped control the frizz and it did add shine to my past the shoulders length hair. It also cut my drying time by at least half. It is still early to tell if it will help prevent split ends and breakage. The drawback is the price. I am not totally convinced that this product is the miracle cure for unmanageable hair but so far I am satisfied with the results. -
