Dior Oil-Free Loose Powder promises to even out your complexion, leaving an ultra-luminous velvety finish what is supposed to last all day. However, I find that this powder works well for me on some days, delivering what it promised only when I am wearing Dior foundation. With any other foundation, I find this powder to be ineffective. I would not recommend this to anyone who does not have really well hydrated skin because I find that even the slightest evidence of dryness will be further exaggerated with this powder being applied on skin. The price is expensive for the powder, ranging from 40-50 but there is enough quantity to last a few years! I've been using mine regularly for about 1 year now, and it still looks like I barely touched it! -

I spent a lot of time and money going through concealers before I started using this one. Not only was I struggling with dark circles but I have dryness under my eyes, even though I was religiously using high end eye cream and a lot of other concealers would reveal the dryness under my eyes. However, after discovering Dior hydrating concealer, I no longer have that problem because not only does this product conceal dark circles, but the texture is lasting, soft and hydrating, which means I no longer have that cakey-dried look under my eyes when up close. The coverage and lasting power is amazing and it blends really well. I believe they come in only 3 shades, but I find that the shade I was using lasted me throughout winter and even summer when I started to become tanner. I was told that this concealer would last me only 6 months but its been almost a year and I still have quite a bit of product to go (fyi, I use it everyday and not just under my eyes). -

Cute and simple Aldo sandals that go well with any summer outfit. The sandals come in a few colours, white, brown, silver, gold and black and are reasonably priced (I bought mine on sale for just $18!). The only downside to it is that the strap is made of synthetic material that irritated my feet. After wearing them the first time, I had blisters on both feet! After a few wears though, the material becomes a bit more softer from normal wear and becomes more comfortable. -

I’ve went through many mascaras (from Drugstore brands to more expensive ones) and I find myself using this mascara for everyday wear. It does smudge a tiny bit when I work out and sweat, but other than that, I don’t find any major problems with smudging. I recommend buying the waterproof version as the bit of wax in the waterproof prevents the eyelashes from getting droopy by the end of the day. -

I had my haircut at the Aveda Academy for the first time and I must say, I was impressed at the service for the price I was paying! I only had a haircut so I can’t really comment on the other services but my haircut turned out to be better than I had expected. For haircuts, you can request three different level of stylists, the most junior charges $16 while the intermediate haircut (wash and style) costs $30 (the highest level charges $45, I believe). I requested a haircut with the intermediate stylist and she did a really great job with my haircut. Overall, the atmosphere, services and products exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend haircuts here. -

If you are just trying Thai food for the first time, I’d recommend their Tom Kat soup, Spring rolls and red curry. Lunch specials are very delicious at very low prices. For less than $10, you can get rice, soup, salad, spring roll and a Thai dish! -
Dior Plastic Lip Gloss
Although pretty expensive for lip gloss, it does wonders for those who have dry lips in the winter. Colours are all so beautiful!
