I first bought the mary kay eye primer way back in high school. At the time I had absolutely no idea that you were supposed to prime your eyes before putting on eye shadow. When I was with the mary kay sales rep she explained it to me and I thought I would at least give it a try. Since that day, I have never stopped using this primer. I used to use a dark eye shadow as a liner on my top lid, and found that it would only serve as a good liner if my lid had been primed first. It also makes your eye shadow show up brighter and of course last longer. I have big eyes, so when there is an eyeshadow build up in the crease, it is very noticeable. All the more reason to continue using this eye primer. -

I tried Nars Pure Matte Lipstick in Volga, which is a dark and rich plum colour. In the tube I thought the colour would be far too dark on my lips, but as soon as I applied it I could see that I was definitely wrong. I applied a very light layer of lip balm before applying the lipstick so it glides on easy. The colour is absolutely gorgeous and really stands out.
The sleek and narrow design of the tube makes it easy to apply as well as easy to carry around so you always have it with you for touch-ups. I'm a lip gloss kind of girl, but this lipstick already has me thinking about plunging into a whole new world of lip colour.
Though it seems pricey, you are definitely getting a high quality product so your money will not be going to waste.

I am incredibly clumsy when it comes to nail polish. It never looks smooth and I usually make a mess while I attempt to put it on. Something about the brush on this Joe Fresh Nail Polish just really worked for me. It went on very smooth, not nearly as streaky as my nails usually looks and it dried fairly fast. I'm usually incredibly paranoid that I'm going to ruin it because it's not completely dry, but within half an hour I completely forgot about it and could tell that it was perfectly dry. Also, I usually apply two coats to get colours bright enough on my toes, but I found that after one coat, the second one wouldn't be necessary. I applied it anyway just to make the colour a bit darker, but I was very pleased with how this turned out. And like all other Joe Fresh products, the price is just absolutely amazing. I can't wait to get my hands on some more colours. Joe Fresh will be taking over my nail polish collection.

I have been using this face cream as my daily moisturizer for a few years now. I'm picky with face creams as I have very oily skin and find that some creams only make that problem worse. If you have sensitive skin, I would not recommend this cream for you. I have friends that have used mine and found that it made their skin very hot and started to sting. Especially if you have open blemishes or anything along those lines. The cream can get glossy on your skin if you use too much, so use it sparingly. I also love the added benefit of spf protection. It is incredibly important to protect your face from sun damage everyday no matter what the season. -

I received this product from the brand and usually I'm quite skeptical about using a night cream. My face tends to be very oily, and in the past I've found using a night cream makes it worse. This night cream was completely different. I dab some on at the end of the day and by the morning, my skin feels softer. It is not too fragrant, which is important as you'll most likely be putting it on right before you go to sleep. It's very light and has great results. I would definitely recommend this product. -

This scent is my least favourite of the bunch, simply because I don't like very fragrant "perfume" smells. I know many girls that absolutely love it though, it's a personal taste issue. However it is a good option to have with me, for the days when I should smell "classy" instead of fruity. -

Love Spell is definitely a good one for me. It's not too fragrant and it doesnt have that "old lady" perfume spell. It's just fun and a bit fruity. -
