My first impression was really quite good. When I opened the box up after I got it free I was happy to see they thought to include it all. When I was applying it I had a difficult time with my hair already being damp and I could tell it was going to be patchy so I tried to add more to the places that were more bare. I let it process and washed all the product out I liked that my hair felt softer once the dye was out. I then conditioned as per instructions and dried my hair. Once it was dry I noticed the patchiness. The patchiness doesn’t really actually bother me that much. All in all I didn’t mind this product and I thought it was different. Different in the way that you can customize the colour with everything that is included in the box. Overall I would purchase this on my own just to try a different intensity of color. Maybe part of the issue with the patchiness was to do with misunderstanding the instructions as it’s different process times and different mixes. I also wasn’t sure of the colour numbers as there was no chart of any sort I just went off of the fact of more pastelizer added the lighter the color. -

I get so gitty over anything YSL! I don’t know if it’s because everything is gold or just something else in my head. I like this product for the ease of use in pen form. Sometimes I find myself pressing the button over and over and over without product actually dispensing but other times once it’s going it really goes so it’s almost scary as you wait for stuff to come out as you don’t want a crazy explosion.. or maybe you do want the explosion... either way once your perfect amount of product comes out it’s easy to apply to the face although I don’t use the pen to blend it out I till really like everything about it. -

As a body shimmer powder it really does what it says. I love this literally all over the place! It has such a nice glittery gleam to it. It’s a little too chunky for the face but sometimes I like to throw it there too.

I bought this palette to have some variety as I only had one highlighter before this. I loved that there was a lot of shades. When I swatched these colours I was stoked but when I first tried them I had some difficulty with the actual color coming out. I have tried them over and over again and with time I have been able to make it so much better. I have a hard time making some of these colours actually work with my skin tone though I guess. -

I have only used this palette a couple times. Everytime I have used it it works great. I just have ready dry skin so I gravitate towards cream contours to try not to dry my face even more. The pigment it’s nice and it blends very nicely.
