I received this product as part of a sampling opportunity through chick advisor. I have tried other batiste du shampoos before and was excited to try the violinist formula. I found that it worked a effectively as the others I had tried in removing the greasiness from my hair but the white residue it left behind was quite noticeable and difficult to blend in. I did notice SOME increased volume but less than I had expected. Overall I don't think I'd purchase this product mainly due to the residue it left behind. -

Left my lips smooth and soft. I found that the product wore off pretty fast though and I had to reapply quite often. -

However this sensation didn't last very long and I found myself reapplying too often. I also found that the stick or balm felt very flimsy and I was afraid it would snap off if I rolled it up too far past the lip of the tube. -

I received this product as part of a sampling opportunity from chick advisor! There are pros AND cons. First the pros: it goes on smooth and has a light tropical scent. Makes my lips feel smooth and silky! The cons: although a lovely sensation it does not last long. I found myself reapplying constantly. I also found that the stick felt very flimsy. I had to be very careful to only roll a tiny bit out the top of the tube because it felt like it would snap off very easily! Would prefer this in a cube format! -

I had likes and dislikes with this product. I LIKED that it smelled great and went on velvety smooth. The mint scent was lovely. I LIKED that it left my lips feeling a bit tingly and fresh! I DISLIKED how thin the product goes on. I feel like I had to keep reapplying it often as it would wear off very quickly. It definitely did everything it said it would: Hydrate, Replenish, Smooth, Protect and Add Shine but it was quite temporary. -

I received this product free of charge from Chick Advisor as part of a promotional testing opportunity. I had tried several other dry shampoos before this one but I think it might be my favourite. It has all of the great qualities of the others I have tried and honestly none of the problems. First off it doesn't make my hair look like it lost a fight with some baking powder. A lot of dry shampoos spray on whitish and then fade out as you brush them in but the dove dry shampoo must spray on clear because I have never noticed it or felt like I had to blend it out. Second it does just what a dry shampoo should! It leaves my hair feeling like I washed it the day before instead of two or three days before. I don't have very oily hair, I only wash it every 3-4 days and the only areas that appear unwashed at that time are my roots so this was great as a fast solutions to dull looking roots! Third it smells AMAZING. Seriously fantastic scent. I love it. Will definitely buy again. -

I received this product free of charge from Chick Advisor as part of a promotional testing opportunity. There are things I really like things about this hairspray and things I really do not. The good outweighs the bad though! First off the good. This is what it says it is! A flexible hold hairspray! I love doing vintage hairstyles which tend to require a bit of help staying where they're supposed to. This hairspray did just that! Helped without cementing my hair into place. It doesn't leave you hair feeling crunchy or overly covered in product, in fact my friend happened to brush against my hair and commented on how soft it was! So great job on the formula! Unfortunately my big issue with it was the smell. It's not a BAD smell per se... it's very floral... the kind of floral I would expect to smell perhaps at my grand mothers home? Again not a bad smell but not something I would imagine myself smelling like. A quick squirt of perfume over top kind of masked it but that's not the kind of thing I like doing. -

I received this product free of charge from Chick Advisor as part of a promotional testing opportunity. I have been using the Dove Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner on a regular basis for 2 weeks, which I have found leaves my hair very soft and sleek. I have used this twice and although I found my hair feeling soft and sleek I'm not sure how much softer and sleeker it was compared to when I JUST used the shampoo and conditioner. What I AM sure of however is that it's fantastic for wet setting curls. I love doing vintage hair styling which more often than not involves wet setting pin curls over night. Taking the curls out and brushing them down in the morning often results in a fluffy mess but I found that when I set them with the oil in my hair they seemed more controlled and sleek when I took them out! An accidentally discovered bonus! -

I received this product free of charge from Chick Advisor as part of a promotional testing opportunity. I have been using this product for the past two weeks in combination with the Daily Moisture Conditioner. After just the first use I instantly noticed that my hair was softer, shinier and sleeker and it has continued to improve with further use! No lie. This product claims to moisturize without weighing the hair down and to leave it touchably smooth and easy to manage. it did all of these things. Seriously my hair has never been this soft. -
