PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Lemon Poppy Seed
I will never buy this flavour. I had high hopes after the choc and pb one, however, this particular bar was what I assume a lemon cleaner bar would taste like. It had a very distinct chemical taste and was really dry.

This bar was amazing. Love that it was low in sugar and felt like a cheat treat! Maybe I'm biased because I love chocolate and pb together but it had a really great taste...not protein-y at all! Will buy when I see in-store

Once I applied it, I felt the consistency of it was too thin. I personally like a thicker cream, especially when using on my legs and arms, which is where I applied it. It did hold the scent for a long time, which was a bonus. I would probably purchase this in a body butter type as I really enjoyed the smell.

The protein content was just okay and the 18 grams of sugar were way too much for me to consider buying again in future. The taste was good but unless I was using as a sub for pudding, I wouldn't purchase this in place of our current greek yogurt.

As per all Iogo products, love the greek yogurt. It was creamy and not too tangy. Love the squeezable pouches as well. It took up less space in the fridge as well as less product packaging waste. Protein to sugar ratio was great as well!

And then these came along and changed all that.
200 calories, 2g sugar, 20g protein, and only 16g carbs, these are a delish way to amp up your protein intake. I try to stock up on these when the 18 pack goes on sale at Costco for 15.99, but even at 19.99, that is still a steal of a deal comparative to other brands. Highly recommended. They are actually really similar to a chocolate bar, minus the diabetic shock your body would get with little to no nutritional value.

I still prefer the regular old ginger ale, but this would be great for a punch or even to make treat Popsicles. It would be good with adult liquids as well. Price was as all pop is, so unless it were on sale, I wouldn't pay the regular 6.99/12 cans price as I didn't feel it was so special to warrant spending that. With that being said, I will definitely buy it as a treat in the future. -

This is bar none the BEST supplement I have tried. Upon first glance, you might think nothing of these little gummies, however, halfway through running a Tough Mudder, they had these on course and gave me the re-charge I needed to get through the remaining 5 miles! The dark cherry flavour makes them taste like candy! Highly recommended and cheap to buy. Only downside...they are only available for purchase in the US! -
