I received this product free from ChickAdvisor's product review club. I was super excited to try the permanent hem tape that came with the sample pack, but the adjustable hem tape was just a bonus for me. I'm tall and my pants and skirts are typically too short already. This adjustable hem tape would come in handy when adjusting the hem of other clothing items, like t-shirts and blouses. You know when you have a t-shirt with sleeves that do not lie flat against your arms and you want to wear a cardigan without sleeve bulges? This product helps with that! It hems t-shirt sleeves effortlessly and they stay up all day long. There is a bit of sticky residue once you remove the tape, but I'm hoping that it comes out in the wash. After using the tape on a tee, I have decided that it can likely be used on a blouse as well...as long as the material isn't too sheer or drapey. Aside from the residue issue, the only con would be the price. $9.99 for 24 disposable strips seems a bit steep for me. I don't think I would pay this much to purchase the product in the future. -

I liked the smell of this hairspray and the fact that it didn't make my hair hard and crunchy. However, for my hair type it was not very effective. My hair is thick and somewhat resistant to styling since it's heavy and coarse. This hairspray made a difference to my hair for about an hour. I will say that it is true to its name -- you can easily comb through your hair with this product generously applied. In conclusion, I don't think it's meant for me but may work very nicely in thinner and more lightweight hair types. -

These wipes very thoroughly removed all of my makeup. They didn't make my skin feel tight and dried out like some other wipes do. These would be great to use in the evening when I'm just too tired to do a proper job washing off all the makeup with my cleanser (because we all know that most cleaners don't get everything and leave you with makeup leftovers all over your towels). I'd recommend these and would also love to try the ones for oily skin sometime. -

Okay, listen up, this smooth cottage cheese was excellent! I was definitely put off by the sound of it at first since I remember eating cottage cheese as a child and hated the lumpy consistency. If I wasn't told that this was cottage cheese, I would have assumed it was a delicious new kind of Greek yogurt. I had the salted caramel flavour. What a treat. I could eat this in the afternoon for a sweet (but healthy) snack or as dessert after dinner. A less sweet flavour would even be great for breakfast. It even has more protein than Greek yogurt so it'll keep me feeling full longer. GayLea gained a loyal customer. I will certainly be purchasing Nordica Smooth Cottage Cheese as a routine from here on in! -

This express pedi foot smoother is amazing! It's quick to smooth any rough areas, it's really easy to use (you can't possibly mess up) and most of all, it's effective. I found it very ticklish on my feet (except for my heel, which I guess was a little tougher in general). My feet are now super soft! Bonus - the disposable file is very easy to put on and remove. Unfortunately, I was not blessed with naturally clear skin. After high school, I did not experience a significant improvement in my skin's appearance. Breakouts are commonplace for this twenty-something. I take my Benzagel gel with me everywhere. The smaller bottle fits in my purse so that I can re-apply throughout the day (this is my regimen only with really stubborn breakouts). Normally, I apply it to any developed or developing breakouts before bed and then again in the morning. I wear the product under my makeup.
Benzagel is the most effective acne product that I have used. It doesn't work miracles (like acne products often claim to), but it does reduce the lifespan of each breakout. It also helps improve the severity of certain problem areas before they have fully developed.
For less than than 15 dollars, it's a great buy! I would highly recommend this product to anyone with stubborn, breakout-prone skin!

ChickAdvisor provided me with a full-sized box (6.4 kg) of Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter to review. I was excited to try it in my cats' litterbox, as it was a premium brand and we normally purchase more of the middle-of-the-road litter brands.
I have four cats. Two of them regularly use the litterbox that I chose to put all of the Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Complete Odour Sealing Clumping Litter into. I dumped out all of the litter that was previously in there and replaced it with the new product. The first thing that I noticed is that it had a fresh scent and the granules are quite fine. The scent took a bit of getting used to, but I did not find it to be overpowering. I anticipated it smelling awful when mixed with cat pee, but it did not. My cats were a little unsure of the scent too. They aren't used to any litters with a distinct scent and I believe they must have found it to be much stronger than I did.
The best thing about this product is how effectively it clumps. You can scoop stuff out with ease and it never crumbles. I could do without the fresh scent, but it did seem to be neutralizing odour at the same time (always a good thing!).
I noticed that my cats were not burying stuff in the litter as much as they normally do. My best guess as to why is, the finer granules more easily stuck in their paws. At times this made the odour sealing feature of this product irrelevant, so the littlebox smelled anyway.
Overall, I would recommend this product if you are willing to spend more to eliminate some of the hassle that comes along with scooping less-than-solid pieces out of the litterbox. I have a strong suspicion that I liked this product more than my cats did, but I think if it became their usual brand, they would get used to it.
