Simple Micellar Cleansing Water

I always felt a little weirded out by the idea of using a detergent free cleansing water instead of washing my face with actual soap and water. But when used in combination with the wipes this is a pretty great product. It leaves no residue behind, but I do recommend letting it dry completely before moisturizing. I don't recommend it for a heavy full face of makeup though. And it wont stand up to eye makeup. But this will probably become my go to morning and post gym routine. It is super gentle, and is great for anyone with sensitive skin.
As noted, for those of you who are not familiar with cleaning waters, this is not a toner. You can use this after or before washing your face (which is how I would use it when I have makeup on, as a prewash), but it's actually meant to be used in place of traditional washing.

The beads are small and gentil but still get the job done. My skin always feel so smooth and glows after I use it. I usually let it sit on my skin for a minute after messaging it all over. It also gets rid of any redness. Love love love it! -

It applies like a dream, super smooth & even. However when applied as a setting powder, when you get under the right kind of light, you will see hints of that white cast. A little goes a LONG way, so be careful not to over use this, apply it very sparingly.
It does perform well at keeping skin matte for at least 4 hours (depending how oily your skin is). If applied under powder foundation, it will even out the texture of your skin for a flawless application (unless you have very dry, chapped skin). It will not minimize pores in the slightest (but it definitely won’t make them appear larger).
Now I did notice I had a minor breakout after testing this product as a primer for a couple days. My skin has been pretty clear this year, and while I can’t be completely sure it’s at fault, you may want to test it on a smaller area at first if you’re acne prone.

I love the stick packaging. It applies extremely smoothly. You can sheer it out by blending (which is does very easily), or wear it more opaque. It's well pigmented, and once set, stays put. The cream format means no fallout, but you may get some (minimal) glitter transfer.
Now the glitter... A definite no for day time wear. Less here is more to avoid looking tacky. I love the shade, and this may have had serious HG potential had it come matte. But if you love wearing glitter eyeshadow, this is a must buy.

I received this as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club Super Panel and absolutely loved it. The color (006 Funky Lips) is gorgeous, really vibrant & well pigmented. It can be worn sheer, or applied boldly for a more opaque look. It is not drying (possibly even mildly moisturizing) & applies extremely smoothly. No stickiness. Unfortunately it is not very long lasting at all, but when it wears off it does leave behind a pretty & even stain. The bottle is adorable, but kind of bulky in a smaller handbag. It can feather very slightly when applied more thickly.
As long as you don't mind needing to reapply fairly often, this is a great product.

I've been pretty impressed by most of the GOSH products I've tried, so when I received this as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club Super Panel I was really excited. I LOVE mascara, and go through lots of it.
Unfortunately I can easily say I will not be buying another bottle of this particular product. I loved that there was absolutely no smudging or flaking, and it was incredibly black. It also applied really nicely, and even after a few coats my lashes stayed nice and soft (no dreaded crunch). However it was definitely too thick. Within 30 minutes after application my lashes had lost all curl (even when I kept it to one or two coats). I also found that this mascara did not give me very much volume. Even with layering, instead I noticed a decrease in separation. Interestingly, this mascara did effectively add a significant amount of well structured length (which left me wondering why it was dubbed 'Crazy Volume Mascara'). I did also really like the brush, with the long spiky bristles on one edge, and the short dense bristles on the the other.
Although this mascara has some clear strengths, the final look I was left with was disappointing enough that I probably wont use it again.

I love Hard Candy, but whoever authorized this product for release should be fired. I seriously took this product into the lab and tried Everything possible to get it so work. This product is a complete fail. I don't understand how Hard Candy could put this out. For those still interested in a review read on: I got this in the "fair palette 133". Now, since I've had to stop pretty much all sun exposure to my skin, I've become pretty pale – but I think labeling this palette fair is a total joke. Casper would be a better fit. Not only are the colors extremely white, the second you add foundation on top it either; a) disappears or b) frankensteins into a cakey, non-human colored splotch. But mostly it just disappears. On my face this felt worse than cheap Halloween makeup. Then the darkest color is quite waxy. I’m guessing it’s meant to set the color corrector, but it’s just all wrong. I also tried using this for other things such as an eye shadow base, a highlight, mixed with pigment and other mediums to make a lipcolor. It’s useless. The only thing I can think of to do with it now (apart from tossing it straight in the garbage), is popping out the pans and using it to make my own palette. And the little brush it comes with (if you can even call it that) just adds insult to injury. This was an impulse buy. Big mistake. -

I've used the original Dove bar for as long as I can remember. Sometimes I'll switch over to another product, or treat myself to something fancier, by I usually always come to this. It makes me feel super clean and smells amazing (for your general soap bar). While I'm not sure I would go as far to say this is very moisturizing, it definitely doesn't dry out my skin like some other soaps do. I don't recommend using it on your face, I did find it to be a little too harsh. It's 2 main downfalls - the price (compared to most other drugstore soap bars) & how quickly it gets used up. It's tends to melt really quickly when left in the shower (and water's pouring down on it). Oh and if you accidentally get it in your mouth (or more likely a child's) - the taste & burn will haunt you for a while (don't ask me how I know that) -

This is one of my top go to drugstore eyeliners. There are a ton of colors to choose from and they glide over skin effortlessly without smudging. These liners are very soft but you can still get a pretty thin line out of them, or go a thick as you want. The pigmentation is exceptional, and will last a good part of the day/night, but you wont have to worry about any staining or spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to remove it.
The price is what I would would expect to pay at the drugstore, but what you get for the price is amazing. I really think Annabelle is an underrated company. I find myself reaching for this liner over many others around the same price range. They also sharpen nicely (maybe an odd observation but I can't stand pencil that are too brittle and splinter, or are too soft and over-sharpen without even getting that perfect pointy tip).
The only problem I've had with them (and I'm not sure if it's because the end dries out or when it gets wet) is that once in a while, when I go to reapply, instead of laying down color - nothing happens. It doesn't scratch off any makeup already there, but it's like there's a layer of plastic covering the kohl. But, all you have to do is sharpen it and it's good to go.

I love cereal. Love. But, I'm picky about what goes in my mouth. Kashi GoLean Crunch Cereal passed all my tests with flying colors. It has a surprisingly great taste, while being healthy at the same time. It comes in different sizes clumps (I've had some the size of golf balls), that will slightly morph into a more standard cereal when you add milk, BUT it wont loose it's crunchiness. There's nothing I hate more than mushy cereal. I find that cereals which dissolve & separate tend to over-sweeten the milk when mixed. GoLean Crunch doesn't. What makes this one of my favorite cereals (aside from the taste and nutritional value), is it's great to eat dry too. A small handful of perfect bite size clumps make a really good healthy snack. When it comes down to it though, in the end I want something that keeps me energized and doesn't leave me feeling hungry. You do need to implement some portion control, because it is pretty dense, but it actually keeps me full and well fueled from one meal to the next (which can be rare, considering my active lifestyle, in combination with the speed of my metabolism). The only downside is I find certain stores do pump up the price, but don't be put off by the size of the box, a little goes a long way. -
