I tried Tarte EmphasEYES Aqua-Gel Eyeliner in Bronze and I'm impressed with how much colour and definition I can get with just a light stroke. The best part is that it doesn't smudge even on the lower lash line! The liner is really thin so no sharpening is needed.
This eyeliner is formulated without mineral oil & petrolatum, perabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, and synthetic dyes.
The formula is really soft so I need to be careful not to twist up the liner too high and to use just small strokes. Because it's so soft, I can imagine that it wouldn't take too long to use up, which can become expensive at $18USD each. If you're looking for a long-lasting eyeliner made without harmful ingredients, I think EmphasEYES is worth it!

I like Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion because it doesn't feel thick, absorbs into my skin quickly, and keeps me moisturized all day. This lotion does everything it claims to do and it works to heal dry skin. I like the convenient pump bottle and is gentle enough for those with very sensitive skin. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a long-lasting body lotion!

Aveeno Active Naturals Smoothing Body Wash has tiny rice and walnut bits for really gentle daily exfoliation. It's creamy and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. For around $8CAD, you get a really generous amount of 473ml which will last you a long time especially if you use it with a loofah. My favourite thing about this body wash is that it smells amazing! The pomegranate scent is light and I can still smell it after the shower but it's very subtle. The only trouble I had was that sometimes it was difficult to get the body wash out because the formula is really thick, so storing it upside down, especially towards the end will be helpful.

I tried Lancome's Juicy Tubes 100% Natural Origins in Rose Pretty from the Bronze Riviera (Summer 2010) collection. I've been using Lancome Juicy Tubes when they first came out as limited edition glosses many years ago (before Lancome focused exclusively on producing them as 100% Natural Origins) and I've always loved how glossy and nice smelling they were. Juicy Tubes have a very distinctive texture, like an emollient gel that lays on thick but once it's settled, it's not tacky, but glossy and moisturizing. These glosses are very subtly scented, unlike the previous ones (in particular the Juicy Tubes from the Pop line that were minty and bubblegum scented). One thing I would like see is a more pigmented range of colours. Rose Pretty is the darkest of the limited edition summer shades and the raspberry colour applies sheer. This is great for layering but at $22CAD each, it is expensive for an almost clear gloss.

I was excited to try this makeup finishing spray because I've always liked the idea of not having to do any touchups during the day. But the reality was that no matter how many or kinds of primers or setting products I used, eyeliner, concealer, mascara, etc. fades or smudges. 10 Years Younger helped make my makeup last and I think everyone should try a Skindinavia finishing spray! However, don't expect your makeup to look exactly as it did in the morning-- I realize now that it's not realistic but the spray definitely helps it from wearing off. 10 Year Younger would be great for those with more mature skin or drier skin types because of its moisturizing properties. I have combination skin and on more humid days, I found that I got oily.
It can be pricey but I will continue using it because not having to retouch my makeup throughout the day is worth it to me.

The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter "creates soft, glossy and tangle-free hair using a luxuriously rich and intensive deep-conditioning treatment without silicones, sulphates, parabens or colorants."
This is a really moisturizing deep conditioner that makes hair really soft and manageable. You only need to use 1-2 hazelnut amounts about once a week so a small tub will last a long time. I feel like this hair butter is actually helping my hair look better and not just coating it with silicones and weighing it down.

This is a really effective shampoo for dry hair, I feel that it is actually making a difference is moisturizing my hair rather than coating is with silicones so that it FEELS silky (and later washes out). I don't have very dry hair but I do use styling tools so the ends are somewhat dry so I like to use something very moisturizing in between my regular shampoo washes.
One thing I didn't like at the beginning was that it was very difficult to create foam. With this shampoo, the instructions say to lather it up in your hands first but I find that all the lather disappears almost instantly once I apply it to my hair. By the second to third wash, I'm able to get more lather so it just takes some getting used to. I figured that it wasn't foaming well because it doesn't have sodium laureth sulfate (a foaming agent) but I'm willing to give up some lather for a product that is probably better for me in the long run.

I currently do not have fine lines or wrinkles but I'm interested in taking preventative steps. I know that AHA works great for those who suffer from pimples so I gave this a try and I am very impressed! It has made my skin super soft and gets rid of pimples within a couple days (overnight if it is minor). At the beginning I saw a slight breakout because AHA will push out everything underneath all at once and I was happy to see that it was working so effectively. If you have sensitive skin, you have to be careful because this is a very strong exfoliator. My skin is used to AHA (13%-15%) masks and I could not use this everyday during the first week because it burned so much! It was so irritating that I had to wash it off right away. I thought the burning would fade after a few minutes but it didn't so I learned that I could only use it every other day and then build up to everyday at night only. As your skin gets used to the strong AHA, you'll start to see amazing results like glowing, CLEAR skin!

I tried NARS Strawberry Fields Lip Gloss which is a gorgeous berry shade. NARS describes this shade as 'Bright Strawberry Pink.' The lip gloss is very moisturizing and highly pigmented. I love the packaging, it's simple and very 'NARS.' The applicator is easy to use and works well to create a very defined lip if I'm going for a bold look. If I want just a bit of colour, I can easily sheer it out with my finger. I find that most long lasting lip glosses are sticky but this one isn't super thick or uncomfortable. I also like that as the gloss wears off throughout the day, I'm left with a pink stain rather than just bare lips. The retail price is $24USD/$28CAD and completely worth it for such a high quality gloss! I hope to see NARS introduce more lip glosses that are this pigmented and in such amazing shades!
