As far as disposable razors go, this is the top of the line from what I'm concerned. It provides 4 beautiful blades, which is just one shy of shaving off vital parts of skin mind you, and leaves skin smooth and soft. Blades last surprisingly long and are reasonably competitive based on pricing of similar items. And on top of it all, it's pink. There, I said it, it's eau de femme. It's on the heavier side, when compared to Gilette's Venus, but it just feels like it's higher quality than a mere disposable razor. It's the women's version of the male 4 blade, and it is well worth it for razors to be used in the shower!
For disposables, this is the way to go. If you want an even better shave, then by all means graduate up to my new and beloved Remington Smooth & Silky Ultra.

While the idea behind the razor was a good foot forward, the soap runs out entirely too fast and you are left with a sharp razor and an akward applicator, reducing you to the need to change out the blade far earlier than necessary. And with blades being almost double the price (you are given half the amount of blades because they are so large with the soap application around them, while paying the same price as an ordinary box of 4 or 8 blades) it just isn't worth it. Good direction, but much still needs to be altered for the product to be worth the price. Certainly not something to go run out and buy, but if you change your blades out every 3 -4 times you shave, then it may be just the thing for you. Otherwise, just applying shaving cream or using an electric razor seems far more practical. -

I first was introduced to this product on a photoshoot with makeup artist Rob Scheppy, brilliant by the way! But I digress, he had me use this gentle, amazing product to remove my makeup. All you have to do is wet your face a bit, apply gently in circles on your skin, cheeks, forehead, lips, eyes...it removes every trace of makeup with a smooth and milky cleasing, and is gentle enough to not harm your eyes if you happen to peak in the mirror to see even your mascara disinigrating into nothingness. Afterwards you are left with a clean and fresh looking palete..ekhem face...to apply a new coat of makeup to or dash off to bed.
For the harsh humidity of Florida weather, this is great on your skin and removes all traces of makeup. It's a bit on the pricey side at $30 depending on where you find it at, but I feel it's well worth the cost. Gentle on your face and one of the few products out there that not only removes foundation and facial makeup, but hard to remove eyeshadows and mascara all in one application.

If you have the dollars to drop on this exquisite perfume, then please run out and get yourself a bottle. I found it in Vogue Magazine last year, and fell in love with the bottle. It has a crystalesque flower on top wth a red gem as the center, and a beautiful ruby red glass bottle encasing the luscious sent. Delices de Cartier is a sweet, feminine perfume with subtlties of violet and fresia florals blended with cherries, oranges and zesty bergamots, anspices of pink pepper and sandalwood and amber. It is playful yet classic, and as you walk by and the scent grabs onto those passing by, it is not to be forgotten.
Feminine and Exquisite, exactly Cartier.

For those of you that fear the dreaded electric razor, are skeptical of its effectiveness or are searching for the perfect tool...this is the device and review for you.
Remington's Smooth & Silky Ultra 3500 can be found at Target Stores RIGHT-NOW on sale, from $55 to a much desired discounted price of $35, so it's the perfect time to snatch one up.
I used to be quite skeptical of the electric razor, skepticism was outweighed by my intense fear of applying swirling metal blades to my skin to rip out the hairs, only when my love zipped through his hair removal process over the sink in a matter of minutes while i painstaikingly froze myself in the shower as the water ran ice cold each and every day I shaved, I thougth that the once feared blades started to look conquerable.
I am personally one that likes a body free of hair, so that means arms, stomach, legs, everything is sans the normal human fine hairs that are attached at every part of the body. I like it smoothe, what can I say?
I started to use his Remington Electric Shaver, and realized that this bulky mechanism was not intened for the subtle curves of a woman's body, underarms and bikini areas...so I did my research and settled on a Remington Smooth & Silk Ultra. He boasts of the Remingtons (I wanted the Braun but was informed of their ineffectivness when it comes to quick shaving and smooth results). And when I went to Target stores to pick one up, to my surprise they were on sale for $35! So my purchase yesterday was this device that was indeed meant for a woman. It's purple and white, comes with a cleansing brush and carrier, as well as a charging stand, and has a slim handle that is nice for holding.
It gives a quick and smooth shave, however if you are new to electric razors, then it is said to take up to 3 weeks of every-other-day shaving for your legs to accustom to the blades and achieve smooth results, so don't dismay! The S&S glides along curves and around those tight areas such as knees and elbows. It has 2 covered blades and a thin blade across the top to catch and uplift hairs.
You can use it in the shower (wet) or out (dry) and it is quite convenient when you need a quick shave and don't want to bother with drippy shaving creams but don't want razor burn! This is fast and effective, and easily cleaned under running water.
The only problem with this razor...for me...is how it charges. I was hoping for one that can be plugged in and recharged, and also used with the cord. However this sits on the stand and charges, rather quickly, but cannot be used with the cord...since in fact it is a stand. So if you want optimal results of smooth, hair free skin, do try this electric razor!
However if using one that goes alongside of a corded use is what you prefer, then do opt for Braun's Soft&Smooth BodyShave.

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Sugar High...it's buttercream frosting on your lips! I normally don't buy lip glosses because I always seem to walk away disappointed and sans cash. However, this came with a New Years Eve Promotional Deal that I got through a purchase with Victoria's Secret along with a few other Very Sexy Makeup Products, and I am so happy it did!
I saw this in the stores, and thought that a little tube of lip gloss for $7, while it wasn't too high, it wasn't what I wanted to spend on goup that would inevitably make its way into the garbage can.
Now that I've tried it, I'm an avid purchaser of it! It comes in a tube that applies much like most other lip balms intended for chapped lips, through a tiny hole atop a slanted plastic applicator, which is quite convenient. It glides on with perfection and tastes as good as it smells. Sugar High is just like sweet buttercream frosting...it's clear with tiny sparkles in it. However!! Very Important when it comes to sparkly lip gloss...it is not glitter that will chafe your lips all day long in large pieces of metal feeling bits. Instead it illicits a nice glittery shimmer that is seen, not felt.
And this goes wonderfully atop natural lips or to bring shine to my other review of LipTini's Cordial Lips.
Well worth the money spent.

Ok, I have heard lots about the lip and cheek stains, and that once you go for a stain as a blush, you never go back...but of course i was reluctant to try it. In my search for the perfect red, supershiny, non-sticky gloss in a brush format, I opted for this little gem when searching throughout the aisles at Ulta. While I thought it would be more of a gloss, upon reading the directions included in the box (which I thougth quite odd for makeup, so I had to take a peak) I came to understand that the LipTini Cordial Shimmers that I knew little about at the time, were in fact a stain intended for layering up for lips or solo on the cheeks as a blush. Never using a stain as a blush before, I couldn't help but try my fingertips at it once in front of a mirror in my locked bathroom, for fear of turning into a tomato. To my delight, it blended in beautifullly with my foundation and gave a nice rose color up my cheekbones. Better than mere powdered blush by far!
On a second note, I used it on my lips, only sans the layering cocktails it is usually accompanied by. I smeared some on my lips, granting them a luschious red color, but it again is a stain so viola! A red lipstick that does not rub off. Kissably Fresh! Only problem is that it is dry, so I put on a new favorite, the Beauty Rush lip gloss in Sugar High, and found myself lusting after my own glossy red lips in the mirror.
If you are after a great lip/blush stain, one that doesn't rub off but blends in nicely, then this IS the product for you. Take a peak at their website for creative lines of cocktailing up your makeup for new and unique colors and effects.
