We have been buying this clumping litter for the past 10 or 12 years and it has done the job adequately especially for its low price. In the last 6 months the clumping ability of the litter has deteriorated considerably and now we're throwing out a full litter box of unclumped litter because the urine smell is so overwhelming. I don't know what happened but it does appear that they've reduced the clumping agent/ingredient considerably to save money. I'm guessing the dramatic increased cost of everything the last year or so has a lot to do with it. Now we have to shop around to find an equally affordable quality clumping litter which I'm sure won't be easy.    -
