I was hoping to try the Premium Ginger Ale but it was out of stock. I hesitantly grabbed the Ginger Beer, concerned it would taste too much like the alcoholic Ginger Beer that I can’t stand. I was wrong. The flavour in Canada Dry’s Premium Ginger Beer is fantastic! I love ginger, I often buy the crystallized ginger as a snack and this tastes very much like that. It had the bite that ginger should have and wasn’t overly sweetened. I poured it into a cup and it was still very bubbly, I don’t think I could drink it straight from the bottle. I’m not sure I will buy it often because of the price but definitely again as a treat -

I love receiving products from Chick Advisor. They are always packaged so nicely, it’s exciting to open them!
I had used this serum and primer for a few days and was very happy with it. Then I did some research and discovered that Aveeno products are not cruelty free and it’s parent company, Johnson & Johnson is one of the worst offenders in it’s testing and mistreatment of animals. So I will not be promoting or purchasing any Aveeno products. Very disappointing because I could see myself using this regularly.

I love receiving products to review from Chick Advisor. It always comes packaged so pretty, you have to feel happy opening it!
I had used this micellar gel cleanser for a few days and was happy with it. Then I did some research and discovered that Aveeno products are not cruelty free and it’s parent company, Johnson & Johnson is one of the worst offenders in it’s testing and mistreatment of animals. So I will not be promoting or purchasing any Aveeno products.

After a lot of research about difficulty sleeping due to too much thinking and low mood throught out the day in our grey Canadian winters, I discovered 5HTP. I choose Now Foods 5 HTP for their natural ingredients and positive reputation. Price was good too. After only a few days of taking the supplement after work and before bed, I noticed a lift in my mood during the day and quick, uninterrupted sleep at night. Which also helps mood! I definitely recomment this to anyone who needs help with mild depression and/or sleeplessness. -

I don't wear a lot of eye makeup, waterproof mascara and eyeliner. With the occasional concealer depending on the night i had. I had a Nivea eye makeup remover with blue cornflower that I loved. It removed my waterproof mascara and eye liner with ease. The Nivea gentle eye makeup remover is far from easy. I had to soak my cotton pad to dripping, rub my eyes way too hard and use two pads on each eye. I thought then I finally got all my makeup off. Until I woke up the next morning and had raccoon eyes! Pale but still visible makeup residue. Not worth the money unless all you wear is a little under eye concealer and are sensitive to other removers. It obviously is very gentle. To gentle for me apparently! -

My kids and I prefer to eat whole fruit whenever possible but I like having snacks like Mott's Fruitsations in the cupboard for throwing in a backpack for trips and end of the week empty fridge lunches. The Fruitsations +Fibre Raspberry flavour was pretty tasty but not our favourite of the Mott's line. I do like that they have whole apples and raspberries in the ingredients and use real vegetable juice for the colour. No added sugar is also a big bonus for me! We enjoyed our sample of Fruitsations +Fibre Raspberry but it is not the flavour we will keep in our pantry. -

While I try to eat and feed my family whole foods as much as possible, life gets busy. Mott's Fruitsations +Fibre is a pretty healthy grab and go snack. It has no added sugar, only natural fruit sugar and is made with real fruit as the first and third ingredient. My disappointment is that most of the flavour in the Tropical flavour does not come from having the fruit in the applesauce. The only fruit is apples and banana, the other flavour comes from "natural flavours".
This is something I will keep in my pantry and both my kids and I liked the taste and it's great for end of the week, no fresh fruit left for lunches!

I don't want to use the man made sweeteners and even this brand of Stevia isn't perfect, it contains Dextrose, but I figured it had to be better than all that white sugar. I like Pure Via Stevia because it has little flavour, it just sweetens my tea. So not a perfect substitute but definitely better. -

I started buying President's Choice Nutrition First Salmon and Potato grain free blend for my dogs when my chocolate lab started having tummy issues. It wasn't so much that it was grain free, it was more because the ingredient list is fantastic. I did a ton of research before choosing which food and this particular kibble is way better than many brands from pet stores. And a much better price! -

I started taking Natural Calm magnesium because I had read that mag deficiencies can be the cause for anxiety, sleeplessness, headaches and a bunch of other symptoms that affect me. It's been a week and so far it has helped a little. It's not a miracle cure but since magnesium is something that our bodies need and it'a harder to get naturally, I will keep taking it to see if it works better once it's built back up in my system. The raspberry lemonade tastes pretty good so it's not horrible to drink. It does cause diarrhea so I try to take it with a salad for extra fibre. -
