Very cute addition for any Skye fans. The helicopter is fairly basic, the propeller can be spun and there's a button to open a little secret hatch under the helicopter where the little cat fits perfectly. I think that's the most fun and cute part of the toy, as that is the main point of interaction. The minimalism lends to kids' creativity and the little scenarios they create, which would definitely include rescuing the cat. The cat looks like a character that has been forgotten because it has the blacks of eyes painted on and a tabby pattern as part of the sculpting, but it's left plain white. It looks incomplete, but my toddler still loves that it came with a cat - the cat has actually overshadowed Skye and the helicopter! -

My husband is a big fan of hot dogs and we both felt like these Franks had a cleaner taste than pork, beef, or chicken dogs. Because they're made with turkey, they're lower in fat without losing the protein. They're less oily and greasy feeling and the ingredients being relatively clean meant a better flavour. The texture is just like a regular hot dog and the larger Franks size is perfect for a family. I think because these have less fat, they would be tastier boiled than grilled since there is less fat and moisture to lose through grilling, making this a generally drier product.
Another bonus: toddler approved. My 2 year old ate an entire hot dog on his own and kept asking for more!
I love that these are made in Canada and the sale price is fantastic. The regular price is on par with regular hot dogs, but you can get a healthier variety from Butterball. Highly recommend!

Out of the package, this looks pretty much like a lunchmeat. Since it's made with turkey thighs, it's only fair that it has to undergo similar processing to get it to go from thigh to bacon form. Regardless, the flavour was quite good! As one would expect from bacon or bacon substitutes, it does lean towards the salty side, especially with the smoked flavour but that just makes it a great addition to a balanced breakfast (or other meal!) palate. The ingredients are pretty minimal and the price point is similar to regular bacon, if not a little more affordable.
I cooked mine about 5 minutes to get a softer bacon. Some fat did render out but it wasn't dripping in fat. It was surprisingly filling for being only 35 calories per slice. I feel like it really accomplishes its goal of being a healthier bacon alternative. It's high protein but leaner and less greasy. While I ate it as it was, I think it would also go great on sandwiches! Another bonus: it was toddler approved! In fact, it was the first thing on his plate that he reached for!

My little one had a great time playing with all the small pieces that came with the Paw Patrol fire station. He loves the water gun the most and carrying around the little plastic flames, but the pole with sirens and lights was a pleasant surprise too. Being able to launch the firetruck made a no-frills looking truck into something extra special, especially once he found the water gun could be placed on the truck, in the building, or just held freehand to "put out fires". Having the whole station available for play opens a lot of opportunities to bring other toys and characters into the Paw Patrol world! -

I'm already a happy customer of TheraBreath so I was elated to find out I would be receiving the new whitening oral wash to try. I will say, the dazzling mint is very strong. I typically buy the mild mint so this was like a punch of flavour, and in a different way than the icy mint. While the icy mint hits the tongue most, I found the dazzling mint almost has a wasabi type of effect on my sinuses, which was welcome during a period I was congested. I have been using it for about a week and it may have made a small impact on whitening my teeth as I am a daily tea drinker (black and green tea).
The packaging is a beautiful sparkling silver which even gives the visual cue of bright and clean. I love that even though it has such a strong minty flavour, it's alcohol-free and generally much more gentle than most mouthwashes.

I received a sample of patches and didn't think much of them. I haven't had regular breakouts in a while but wanted to have some on hand just in case. While it wasn't a full pimple, I felt an itchy bump on my forehead one evening and thought it would be a great chance to test a patch. It applied really easily and the top of the patch is so smooth. It's nearly invisible too, I actually had to lean into the mirror to see where I had placed it. It stayed in place overnight and didn't hurt when peeling off the following morning, nor did it cause any irritation. The bump and itch were both gone. I have high hopes for it on an active breakout, even if just to protect the surface from accidental friction that may damage the thinner and sensitive skin and avoid adding bacteria to the surface.

I first tried Blue Lizard with my then-infant after seeing how highly rated it was by other parents, and I'm so happy I've gotten to try it for myself too. It's an Australian sunscreen and Australia rightfully takes its sun protection very seriously, and also takes much better care for reef-friendly ingredients too, both of which are just as important to me.
My family has a history of eczema and my face has a tendency to have oily but flaky skin, so the sensitive formula is the one we will be using just for peace of mind. None of us have had any negative effects. The sunscreen is slightly viscous but smooth, and once applied and thoroughly rubbed in, it dries clear with a very slight gloss. Water beads up and rolls right off of areas that have sunscreen, and SPF-50 gives us a bit more time between applications. With little ones, having a bit of extra time between applications means they get to enjoy some more sun without needing to be chased down for reapplication.
The packaging is super cool. I discovered this by accident initially, but the cap changes colour! The cap is clear in the shade or indoors away from sun, but once exposed to UV rays, it turns blue! I think this is an amazing reminder and warning of when UV rays are present and it serves as a visual reminder that you'll need sunscreen wherever you and your sunscreen bottle are.

Neither remote nor car come with batteries (5xAAA total) so the first task is getting batteries in. Once powered, both run pretty smoothly. The remote just has accelerate/reverse and left/right control joysticks so there is no guessing what does what. The car itself is a bit loud so it may startle little or more sensitive kids. The car is made of a smooth plastic with sticker designs. I removed one star because this could mean the design can be scraped or peeled off, and in addition to that, the shape of the fins can be pretty pointy so not the most safe toy. The tires are thick and rubbery with deep treads to make driving over all floor types both possible and less noisy. Although there are a couple of slight downfalls in my opinion, the car is still lots of fun and easy to use. -
