Cool Maker, Sweetheart Handbag Kit, Ages 6 and up
We got the Cool Maker Sweetheart Handbag through Butterly, and it was a fun little project overall. My daughter is 8, and even though the kit says 6+, she definitely needed help with the instructions. Honestly, I found them a bit confusing too, so... +
We got the Cool Maker Sweetheart Handbag through Butterly, and it was a fun little project overall.
My daughter is 8, and even though the kit says 6+, she definitely needed help with the instructions. Honestly, I found them a bit confusing too, so it wasn’t just her. It took us a bit of time to figure everything out together.
That said, once we got it all put together, it actually looked really nice. The finished handbag is cute, feels well-made, and doesn’t come across as cheap at all. My daughter was really proud of it when she was done.
Overall, it’s a great idea and a fun activity, just be prepared to jump in and help with the setup.
