Who doesn't love chocolate!?
I was very happy to try Ferrero Rocher assorted hazelnut chocolate squares for free from Ferrero Rocher and Butterly in exchange for my honest review.
Each square features a chocolate shell with a creamy filling combined of roasted hazelnuts and crunchy crispies, which come individually wrapped. I really like the traditional Ferrero Rocher Golden wrapped chocolates, so I kinda already knew that I would enjoy the squares as well.
The dark chocolate square is made of 55% dark chocolate, so it isn't bitter at all and tastes great!
The milk chocolate square just melts in your mouth with the perfect combination of hazelnut and crispy crunch.
I am a huge white chocolate fan, but I find that not all white chocolate is made equal. Thankfully, I found the white chocolate square to taste like real white chocolate with its buttery cocoa goodness!
Overall, I found that each of the Ferrero Rocher hazelnut chocolate squares tasted great and I would definitely treat myself to them! Thank you so much Ferrero Rocher for letting me try your assorted hazelnut chocolate squares!

This is one of my favourites! AWAKE is a caffeinated chocolate brand made in Quebec and based in Toronto. One AWAKE chocolate delivers the same amount of caffeine as half a cup of coffee, with no bitter taste or artificial ingredients. It literally tastes like good-quality milk chocolate! I like them because they are easy to transport (individually wrapped) and do not upset my stomach like a cup of coffee can. They are gluten-free and Fairtrade Certified, which is amazing! You can find AWAKE across North America at major retailers like Loblaws, Sobeys as well as online.
You can always find an AWAKE chocolate in my purse for those tough, sleepy days!

I have been taking an Omega-3 supplement for a while now and I really like this one! NOW Ultra Omega-3 is made from high-quality omega-3 fish oil delivering 1000 mg of fish oils to support heart health, brain function, and healthy development of the brain, eyes, and nerves in children and adults. I really like that it does not have a fishy aftertaste or cause stomach discomfort like other products can. This supplement is packaged in Guelph, Ontario AND in a bottle made from post-consumer recycled plastic. It is sold in Health Food stores in Canada and online.
I definitely will be continuing to take this brand from now on!

NMN is a NAD+ precursor. NAD+ or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a critical coenzyme found in every cell in the body that has been shown to enhance energy metabolism, improve mitochondrial metabolism and prevent age-linked changes in gene expression. Meaning it helps to initiate or assist in hundreds of metabolic reactions. Declining NAD+ levels are seen alongside a loss in the function of our cells, a natural function of aging. It helps in energy metabolism and tissue formulation, and in the improvement of physical performance in low-resistance short-duration exercise in middle aged adults. NMN is a direct NAD+ precursor, unlike the popular molecule Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) which must first be converted into NMN.
NMN is found naturally in immature soybean pods, legumes, cabbage, mushrooms and other fruits and vegetables. beta-NMN is water soluble and has good bioavailability and absorption, it is in the plasma within 30 minutes. In addition, unlike NR, NMN is more stable in liquids. This makes NMN the NAD+ boosting molecule of choice. The appropriate dose can depend on various factors including individual health status, age, weight, and the specific goals for taking the supplement. Research has shown that it helps to improve physical performance in low-resistance short-duration exercise (such as walking) in middle aged adults.

Unfortunately, I can not comment on the effectiveness of this product as I am still waiting to consult a medical practitioner due to the list of cautions as to whether I can take it. As well, unless a full bloodwork panel is completed, it is always difficult to say whether a supplement is indeed working, so my opinion would be subjective.

Anyone else's nails and cuticles looking a little rough these days? I find that the cold weather and dry air do a number on my nails and cuticles! I was so happy to receive L'Occitane Nail & Cuticle Oil (7.5 ml) for free from L'Occitane and Butterly in exchange for my honest review.
This product is infused with 30% Shea Oil to help strengthen nails and soften cuticles. I am a huge fan of anything Shea-related (and anything from L'Occitane!), so I was very excited to try this product. It has a brush applicator to help place the Shea oil and begin the absorption process (just be careful because the oil comes out fast!). It leaves your nails looking nourished and healthy, almost like you just applied a clear coat. I have been using it once a day for the last 10 days and my nails are looking so good! I can't wait to see if they end up growing stronger!

I was lucky to try the Hotti Heated Dog Leash for free from Hotti and Butterly in exchange for my honest review!
With winter temperatures hitting -30°C and lower, this leash was a warm welcome (pun intended!)! The Hotti Heated Dog Leash warms your hands during winter walks using integrated heating elements in the handle. The heat feature has two settings to choose from. I found the low setting worked great with my bare hands and I could also feel the warmth through my mitten. I found the high setting was perfect for the frigid days!
The leash also includes: LED lighting for visibility, a built-in flashlight, and rechargeable battery. The LED lighting has several colours to choose from, which makes it fun! The flashlight is aimed perfectly toward the ground so you can see your pup. I found the batterly lasts quite a while in-between charges. It came with a USB-C charging cable.
The leash has reflective material to help with visibility when walking in the darker hours. It can extend to 12 feet and can handle a dog up to 45 pounds. The leash has a retract and lock feature with a push-button operation.
I would caution those with a puppy or a dog with puppy-like energy that is still all over the place on a walk because the lock and unlock button are pretty close to the handle, so I found myself accidentally releasing the leash when I didn't mean to. Once my little guy is trained, I foresee no issues.
Overall, I found that this leash was perfect for walks on cold days and nights!

In addition to eating healthy and exercising regularly, I found that a multivitamin fits perfectly into my lifestyle. Swiss Natural's multivitamin is formulated with calcium, cranberries, vitamin C and D, and B vitamins to help maintain optimal health. Plus, this multivitamin doesn't contain anything extra, so it doesn't have any preservatives, artificial colours, dairy, wheat or gluten. This particular multivitamin is geared toward women under age 50 to maintain optimal health. Sounds good to me! The multivitamin pill is a normal size, not like some that are massive and hard to take. Overall, I really enjoy taking this multivitamin!

I have been eyeing this brand for quite some time, so I was very happy to finally try it! I received joni’s Bamboo Overnight Pad for free from joni and Butterly in exchange for my honest review.
*Now, I normally never use an overnight pad because my flow is not that heavy, but this was the pad I was sent to review. I will be comparing it to my regular flow pad.
The joni Bamboo Pad is much softer and more breathable than my usual brand. I tend to sweat when working out or doing certain chores, so I like that I didn't feel uncomfortable or have the urge to change the pad. I found that I had more confidence when using this pad and didn't feel like I was going to have a leak. I think we have all been there when we have an unfortunate leakage moment! With this pad I felt like everything was secure thanks to the two sets of wings! It also absorbs really well and distributes your flow throughout the pad.
Joni calls this the mother of all pads and I would definitely agree with that statement given its size! The only downside for me personally, is its size! Unfortunately, the pad was larger than my underwear, so I would not purchase this size but instead the smaller size of pad.
I like that it is responsibly made from organic bamboo, which is way better for the planet! I also like that it is free from chlorine and dioxin bleach!
Overall, I really liked the joni Bamboo Pad and am interested in trying the size of pad that matches my flow.

This product contains 4% benzoyl peroxide and can be used on the face and body. I have been having a bit of acne on my upper back from working out, so I was happy to try this product to see if it would help clear up the situation.
I have been using the Acne Wash for 6 days and noticed that my acne spots are clearing up. I also have not been getting new acne spots. The Acne Wash has a creamy consistency and lathers quite nicely. I didn't find that it was overly drying to my skin, which was great. Overall, I can say that the Acne Wash did help clear my acne and it's a great option to help combat acne.
