Gorgeous place, friendly management, of course, the food menu is spectacular. Extremely expensive, but I enjoy dining in Yorkville and people watching. I come here over and again, especially when I want to entertain visitors.

Oh my goodness this is the cutest place on earth! If you ever find yourself in Victoria in British Columbia (one of the nicest places I've ever been to), you'll want to stop by this beautiful tea room - cafe. Not only is it vegetarian (way to go!), but it is also a tea shop specializing in everything tea related. I am a tea fanatic, and have visited tea rooms for high tea all over the world from hotels to local granny tearooms, and this is by far, my most favorite spot. First of all, the tea room itself is so nicely set up. Whoever decorated the room paid attention to every little detail with a vintage vibe which I adore. Second, the teas are some of the best I've tasted, and I sampled a quite few. Third, the food was so scrumptious to the extent that I bought take out after my visit for later in my hotel room! I never do that. The staff were super nice, and although it was packed on a Sunday, they still gave us so much attention, and were very helpful with my five hundred questions! We did the afternoon tea for four, and let me tell you, it is absolutely delicious and for a very reasonable price. They also have a full service menu, so you can just go in for a sandwich and tea etc. Love love love, just perfect! -

It is a bit on the expensive side, but this foundation is something I swear by and highly recommend. It produces a flawless finish, and all my friends who use this product - all of different complexions - did not have a hard time finding their perfect colour match. I hear that this version of double wear foundation is not as long lasting as the Light Double Wear, but I usually wear it to a 9-5 job and it stays on the whole time. That's more than good enough for me! I would recommend this foundation to women with combination to oily skin, and for those who are looking for a full coverage, without necessarily having the look of someone who is wearing a foundation "mask". Natural looking and worth every penny! -

Yes, this is a house-hold name product, and yes it is very cost effective. However, after hearing recently that Johnson & Johnson's license was suspended for including fishy ingredients (cancer causing ones to be more accurate), I swore I would no longer purchase their baby products. I am very disappointed in the brand, and I am actively looking to purchase safer and more natural baby products from other companies from now on. -

The feeling of the serum can be a little funny, as it dries, it kind of feels like my skin is being stretched. I sleep in it and by the next day, my face just looks refreshed, hydrated, smooth and firm, first thing in the morning! Basically, it gives my face a nice glow and fresh look. It is just amazing. This product worked immediately, and the more I use it the more effective it becomes. Will purchase again for sure. Love it! -

I bought this eye cream because I have a bit of a new "wrinkle problem". I also have slightly dark circles under my eyes, and when I am tired, my eyes become rather puffy. I invested in this cream - $42 for a very, very small jar - and I suppose it is because of that investment that I was expecting nothing short of a miracle! Although the cream has helped to keep my under eye area nicely moisturized and softer, it has not really done everything it says on the box. After one month of daily use, my wrinkles have not improved in appearance, and the dark under my eyes is also unchanged. I was hoping for a lift & firm around my eye area as the name suggests, but it has not really happened for me. I would still recommend for you to give it a try (there are many other reviewers that swear by it, even though it did not work for me) if you are willing to splurge. It is worth mentioning that this cream blends in nicely with my concealer when applying make-up.
Eye creams are a big business, and unfortunately, I find it is one of those things you have to keep trying until you find the right one for you. My next eye cream investment will be in Estee-Lauder. I tried their new Night Serum and I am in love. As for this particular Clinique product, I am not going to buy again, although I do love many of their other beauty products.
