Although Wellness is just as pricey as Merrick, I was never drawn to it before just because their product design was ugly. But the new CORE line is gorgeous so I picked up a can yesterday and decided to do a taste test with the cat. It is a pate which is fine with me though I do think they should have labeled it so, so that people who's cat's don't eat pate wont be disappointed when they open it up later. The pate was very soft and had a ton of gravy in it, so it'll be extra palatable for picky cats. The feeding recommendations were very easy to understand and didn't require any complicated measurements. The cat absolutely loved it and I will probably end up buying more. -

As someone who loves Parma Rosa sauce and Rosee sauces, I thought this one would be really good. It was so believably sour and bitter I couldn't eat more than two bites. Tasted strongly of vinegar and little else. A waste of perfectly good pasta... +

Tasted strongly of vinegar and little else. A waste of perfectly good pasta. Not to mention the thickness is so much so that you have to take a spoon into the jar to get most of it out in comparison to most Classico sauces which are less thick. Absolutely horrible, would never try again. -

I had become concerned that I didn't have anything in my house to bathe my cat with when he gets into the garbage or anything he's not supposed to. So, I picked this up because it smelled like baby powder and used it as soon as I get home. Not only does it dry very quickly after use without leaving the soapy feeling behind, but the smell was so good and long lasting that a week later I could still smell baby powder in his fur. -

Cat loved the taste no problem, and you could definitely hear him crunching them across the house. They were on for a really good price so I'd definitely get them again. Plus you get so many in the bag they last for quite a while.
