As a former employee of a company under the same banner as Sobeys, I went into this with super high expectations and I was not disappointed. From start to finish, Voila by Sobeys was simple to use. When you log into the website, they have each category clearly labelled and if you can't find it, the search function works very well (which is a problem I've had on other delivery sites.) Another feature I really appreciate is all of the fees are upfront when you check out.
Delivery is super simple. Due to COVID-19, they currently don't enter apartment buildings, but they usually call 10-20 minutes before they arrive giving you plenty of time to meet them downstairs. It is a little bit harder to manage this with a toddler, but they have delivery windows every hpur between 6 am and 10 pm, so it's no big deal to schedule delivery for a time when my husband is home.
We did have a slight issue on our delivery with a sealed bottle of refrigerated salad dressing arriving mouldy, but after emailing their customer service with what happened and pictures, they got back to me in less than an hour issuing a refund for the item. This type of customer service lately is almost unheard of, so I'm very impressed.
I'm very happy with this service as I used to live in Nova Scotia where Sobeys is everywhere. Since moving, I live nowhere near one and have been missing a lot of Sobeyts exclusive products. $7.99 is a little bit more for a delivery fee than other services, but well worth it compared to the price of two adults taking the bus to the grocery store with a toddler in tow.

My dentist recommended I start using a high fluoride toothpaste after my most recent series of visits. I was told to start using it to help prevent more cavities from developing in my already not so great teeth (thanks dad).
I've noticed that the darker spots along the top of my teeth near the gums have already started to lighten a little and it's good for my sensitive teeth. The only thing I hate is the price, but it lasts a really long time as I'm only supposed to use it once a day.

I've tried most of the cheaper flipflops out there, and Old Navy's are definitely my favourite so far. They're the only ones I've had through an entire summer that the design on top isn't completely worn off from use and the foam is still decently springy. And I love that they are coming out with cuter prints for them now (this year I have lobsters!) -
Holy cow. I'm pretty steadfast in my opinions of gel polish. I hate CND (doesn't last on me), Essie doesn't stick, but I LOVE OPI. So when I went for a manicure recently, picked my colours and hoped I was getting OPI, I was a little disappointed... +
Holy cow. I'm pretty steadfast in my opinions of gel polish. I hate CND (doesn't last on me), Essie doesn't stick, but I LOVE OPI. So when I went for a manicure recently, picked my colours and hoped I was getting OPI, I was a little disappointed when I saw them bring out something different. However, a friend who can't get any brand to stay on her nails past the first couple of days told me about Bio Seaweed Gel, that made me a little more hopeful.
This is far exceeding my expectations so far. The colour is vibrant and shiny, and it's holding up pretty well. The further I looked into it, the happier I was to see that it's cruelty-free and doesn't contain the Big 5. Consider me a convert.

Our son loves lights, so I figured a star projector would be something he would really enjoy. We got this as a Christmas gift for him and it works far better than we figured. We can lay him down in his bed, and he eventually drifts off to sleep looking at the stars. I love that it cycles through different colours and that it turns itself off after 45 minutes. -

Our 2 and a half month old son received this for Christmas from his grandparents. He absolutely loves it. For a baby that usually wants to be held, he certainly enjoys being on it. We wanted this one for him as he loves to look at lights and this didn't disappoint. He happily will lay there and stare up at the lights. He also is starting to realize that when he hits the little octopus, it makes noise. -
