I used to use Irish Spring soap bars when I was young (back when my parents did the shopping and only ever bought bar soap), but strayed away from it for years when I made the transition to body wash. I always went with packing with more frills.
This body wash definitely has a fresh, invigorating scent, but it's slightly more manly than I'd want to use for myself. That's my only negative -- which isn't so much a negative as an FYI.

I had no idea cleansing oil was so effective as a makeup remover. As a person with oily skin, I thought that cleansing with oil was a ludicrous idea. Turns out, it's way more gentle and effective for removing makeup (even waterproof, which is my default), and the key is then double-cleansing with a gentle, non-oil cleanser thereafter. My eyes have been opened, and my mind blown! I will definitely continue this regimen of oil cleansing at least once a day (at night). -

I really wanted to love this product, but I just don't feel like it has the abrasiveness my skin personally needs -- it's FAR too gentle on my skin. On top of that, it doesn't get into the nooks and crannies of my skin (such as my nose) so I don't feel like it finishes the job ever.
But to be fair, I understand that in order to avoid having a disposable brush (which would be more abrasive), there is only so much they can do to make (washable) silicone bristles abrasive. And i do love the massaging feel and motion of the head, as well as the aesthetics. It may work well for some people, but for me it's just not quite fitting the bill.

As a person with bangs (as bangs-bearers know all too well, that part of our hair is extra-prone to grease simply because it rests against our face), I exist largely off of dry shampoo from day to day, as is. I love that this one is a natural option, which I can feel good about using -- I don't need extra chemicals in my life, thank-you! -- without sacrificing on effectiveness. It smells great, too! -

I was a little leery of this mascara at first because I thought the picture example on the packaging actually looked quite clumpy (spider lashes) but was more than pleasantly surprised when the product actually applied very naturally and not clumpy at all!
My only cons would be that I'd prefer the hue in brown rather than black, and that I'd like it to be waterproof. Otherwise no complaints!

I've been using the Parissa ingrown rescue kit for just a couple of weeks so far, so it's still pretty early to know for sure -- but I definitely feel like I'm seeing significant improvement on my problem areas. My inner thighs and outer knees always get unsightly razor burn, and the exfoliating bar seems to be helping immensely. Also the oil, I'm sure that's helping a lot in the aftercare as well. I'm feeling much more optimistic heading into the heat of summer (bikini season)! -
