I bought this product in "Rebel Rose" upon discovering that it was a popular dupe for Stila's Stay all day liquid lipstick in the shade "Patina". While I had trialed the Stila lippie in store I wanted to be a bit more confident that I liked it as to avoid wasting $30+ on a shade I rarely reached for. Hence my trial of Liquid Catsuit. I was very pleased to find that this product applied wonderfully and looked amazing. The shade was also a good dupe IMO and to be honest I feel there was less emphasis on my lip lines and dryness with this product as compared to my trial of Stila. It's been some time since Wet and Wild has been a part of my cosmetic arsenal and I'm stoked to be able to incorporate it. Happy to recommend this product to others who are on the market for a great, yet affordably priced matte liquid lipstick. -

My 36 yr old PCOS related acne prone, combination-oily mug is forever thankful to have found this cleanser. It took me a long time to figure out that the key to a clear and even complexion was use of products that help to promote balance in terms of oil production. Us oil prone folk tend to drift towards cleansers that over dry and strip our skin of its natural moisture. We are then left to wonder why our faces look like an oil slick soon after as it begins to overcompensate for the loss. I am so happy to have found this product as my skin has never looked better (in combination with the AM moisturizer I previously reviewed). I feel like I have better control of my oil production despite the fact that I will always have issues. My skin tone has also evened out considerably now that moisture balance has been restored and I find that short of hormonal changes my skin does not erupt as significantly as it has in the past. In terms of price point I will reference a saying that is commonly used to describe something affordably priced where I am from. For $15 I consider this massive bottle "Cheap like borcht" and definitely worthwhile to try. -

I, like many others, purchased this product in hopes of it being the first primer to actually hold up against my excessively oily skin. It was a long shot and the reviews were mixed for us combo/oily gals but since it was inexpensive I thought I would give it a try. My first impression was that it created a lovely base for my L'oreal infallible pro matte foundation but unfortunately that flawless finish was short lived. Primers for the most part see me looking like I've just exited a sauna within an hour or two of application as the oilies come out in full force. My experience with this I'm sad to say was no different. In attempt to make it work I trailed this with a multitude of varied products but the results were generally unchanged. I also noted some eruptions within a couple of days of using it as well which would have seen me shelving it regardless. To be honest though that could have been at least in part related to me mixing and matching some alternate makeup products. On the bright side I still have a really good aftershave out of the deal for use on my legs. All in all I would recommend trying it regardless, particularly if your skin tends to be more normal to dry. Here's to hoping it works as well for you as it has for so many others to date. -

$48 CDN plus added taxes and shipping costs *chokes*. Believe me when I say this is an amazing mascara. I have 20+ years of mascara wearing experience under my belt so I think I've earned a bit of credibility when it comes to reviewing a good one lol. I LOVE the wand, LOVE the formulation, LOVE the overall volumized look and lengthened appearance of my short lashes and cannot say enough good things about the staying power. I am an oily skinned gal who is hard pressed to find mascaras that that don't transfer or smudge at least a little bit and am so pleased to find this is not the case with this one. My eyes tend to be a bit sensitive and they water a fair bit, especially on windy days. A good test for me is returning home after walking my kid to his bus stop and NOT seeing black streaks from wind blown tears decorating my face lol. I also found the overall appearance of my lashes to improve with continued use as well. All in all this product has everything I am looking for in a mascara but sadly it just is not something the average person can afford to use. It is unfortunate because I feel they could be selling hoards of this product if the price was reduced at least to the $30 range. I know I would be all over it. -

A simple Google search will reveal the 101 ways this product can be incorporated. From laundry soap to recipes for face and body cleansers there are no shortage of ways to use this. I keep a giant bottle in my bathroom cupboard and dilute it to clean surfaces, wash dog puke out of my carpet, soak laundry delicates, you name it. The number 1 reason I stock this however is to clean my makeup brushes and sponges. I don't own the original "Beauty blender" brand sponge cleanser but I'll be damned if I don't squeeze every trace of makeup out of those suckers when I wash them with Dr.Bronners castile baby soap. -

I received this product in a recent Ipsy glam bag and to be honest I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. NW20 is my MAC shade match for reference and I HAVE to say that I am loving this as a contour. I even find myself using it as an eyelid crease colour. It is nicely pigmented, has a very soft texture and *bonus* my face hasn't broken out with use. It doesn't appear muddy when applied with a light hand and I feel it is a very flattering shade in general when used alone or in combo with some of my MAC blushes. Hoping to be able to order this product from Canada once my sample pan runs low. It was definitely a great find to stumble upon by chance. -

I have PCOS and am cursed with the oiliest skin of anyone I know. It is so oily in fact that I could take a piece of paper towel, press it to my face, and make out my facial features and nostrils on it for the amount of oil that is absorbed (within a very short while of washing my face or applying makeup). I cannot begin to describe how thankful I am to have found this product. It has been my HG for the last year and my pick over any high end or drug store product trailed to date. It applies beautifully with my dampened beauty blender and oxidizes very minimally on me. I also experience less skin eruptions with this product. I am still required to do a bit of blotting during the day but I mainly just do this by patting my face with my fingers. Instead of absorbing the oil that peeks through it sort of blends in with my makeup and seems to prevent a lot of sebum over secretion. This wouldn't be an option with other products. Anything else slides off and separates after an hour or so. I've even reapplied this foundation on top of my makeup when really pressed for time (Ie: In a rush to a dinner outing) and I've managed to do this in such a way that it doesn't look super heavy or cakey. For reference I am an NW20 in MAC and reviewing my experience with shade 102 Shell beige. Just to add, I am not a huge fan of the infallible pro matte powder whether used alone or in combo with this foundation. I feel it looks better on it's own. Use of the powder version seems to trigger oil production and I end up breaking out within a day or so of use. -

Normal to oily formulation: This is the first SPF containing moisturizer that I have actually been able to wear. Previously trailed products have either resulted in a multitude of skin eruptions, increased sebum production or have balled up under my makeup. I am happy to finally feel like I can incorporate a bit of added sun protection to my regimen that doesn't see my already excessively oily skin looking worse that it already is. In fact I feel my makeup looks better after using this (alone or in combo with some of the PM formula) than it does when I incorporate primers (and I've trailed a ton). At aprox $15 Canadian, this product is definitely affordable enough to take a chance on. For reference I use the Cerave foaming face wash (normal to oily) prior to using this product. -
