I am in that stage of life where I cannot deny the onset of incoming old age. The laugh lines and crow's feet have become prominent in the past years. It has only been a week since I received my free sample of Neutrogena's Rapid Wrinkle Repair Prep Cleanser but I believe this is going to work. Each time I use the product, together of course with the Retinol oil and moisturizer, I can feel my skin turn tight and supple. I am thankful to having received this product as it will force me into following a regime to smoothen out the lines brought about by aging. -

I got to sample a bottle of the Snapple Lemonade juice drink. First off, I liked the plastic bottle. I have broken a glass bottle of juice drink before so when I noticed that the bottle was plastic, I thought this could slip accidentally and fall into the floor but it won't make a mess. Then, the taste. I put it in the fridge first because I always like my fruit juice chilled. This one passed the test. It does taste like real lemonade without that extra taste in the mouth that tells you that this is commercial and synthetic juice and does not really taste like one you make in from scratch. It's so affordable, too. The last time I went to the supermarket, it was on sale for 2 bottles for $3. I would definitely buy this again. -

The summer months mean sweating more than usual when moving around especially when walking under the sun. It is inevitable that one should use protection against offensive body odor. I use this product because it works, is affordable, and lasts long making it worth its price way more. Unlike liquid or gel deodorants, the Dove men stick dries right after applying. Then you can only worry about work or other things the rest of the day instead of the trivial but equally important aspect of how you smell while you sweat in the heat or under pressure. -

I don’t make cocktails or mocktails at home because of what I perceive as the hassle of preparing them. I drink beer directly from the can, wine or champagne directly from the bottle and into the glass, and other alcoholic beverages like gin and scotch by pouring them over ice. The only times I have cocktails are when I go to the bar or at other people’s parties.
This time, however, I could not pass the chance to try Mott’s Mr. & Mrs. T for free. So last night I made for myself a cocktail by following the simple recipe suggestion at the back of the bottle: gin and ice blended with the Pina Colada mix. The taste surprised me. I swear it was the same drink I had in an expensive bar the time I went to to Dubai a few years ago--the equal measures of coconut and pineapple, one flavor not overpowering the other but balancing each other instead with the gin and icy mix. Then I figured this is what the line of Mott’s Mr. & Mrs. T cocktail flavors are for: in order for people like me who do not have the skills to mix ingredients right to make cocktails that taste just like the ones prepared in bars in expensive hotels.
When I finish my bottle of Pina Colada, I plan to try the Margarita flavor next.

At first I thought I was going to test the product’s 98 hour odour protection promise in order to give a good review except that it would mean not taking a shower for days and I don’t think I could last that long. However, what I did do was to not re-apply for two days. I used the anti-perspirant on Thursday morning after showering, and only used it again on Saturday morning. I took a shower on Thursday and Friday evenings, too. I sweated a bit during the daytime especially when I walked the few blocks to the bus stop from home, and from the stop to the office. I also climbed some stairs and did other light manual tasks.
My verdict: yes, this anti-perspirant works. I didn’t smell bad at all after two days and the product seemed to have worked even after I had showered. Most of all, I like how Right Guard smells like soap or body wash instead of the obvious deodorant smell that similar products have.
