This primer reminds me a lot of the Smashbox photo finish primer. It has a silicone feel to it, which is the only reason I don't like it. I really just hate the feeling of silicone-based primers. If you like them then maybe this would work for you... +
This primer reminds me a lot of the Smashbox photo finish primer. It has a silicone feel to it, which is the only reason I don't like it. I really just hate the feeling of silicone-based primers. If you like them then maybe this would work for you. It did an okay job keeping the make up in place, I just didn't like the feel on my skin. I don't have a major problem with pores either so maybe this just isn't "the one" for me. -

But I tried again a few times and I think after it dried out a little it actually worked better, I was able to get more on the brush. It made my lashes very long and separated. Maybe the sample size was difficult to get product out of because it's so small. I'd consider getting the full size and giving it another try! I love MAC! -

I really enjoyed this toner. It was very gentle on the skin, had a really nice but light scent, and made my skin feel soft and clean. I feel like it made my skin glow after a few uses. Would definitely repurchase!

Silicone Makeup Sponge
I don't like this at all. I find a wet sponge gets the product more evenly distributed on the skin. This just leaves smears. I just can't get used to it. I'll stick to my sponges, even if I am using a little more product with them.

Laritzy Cosmetics Pro Blender Sponge
I really liked this sponge, I used it til it had no more life left! lol. It is firmer than the original beauty blender, but that didn't bother me or effect makeup application. It did a great job and is of great value price-wise. Highly recommend!

I really really like this! I got a sample of this in their lightest color and it matched pretty much perfectly. I am fair skinned but not super pale... So I am assuming very pale people would not have a shade that works for them. However, the formula is great! It blends nicely, is pretty full coverage without looking cakey. Normally when I wear foundation I have to go over my bad spots with concealer after. This foundation covered the few imperfections I had. The only downside (as another reviewer mentioned) is that it did bring out the little dry patch I have on my eye. I don't normally get dry patches so I'm not too worried, but if you have really dry/patchy skin this may not be good for you. All in all, I would definitely consider purchasing the full size of this if I could afford it! -

I love most of MAC's products. But this one was just too sheer, and too shimmery for my liking. I like matte, and high pigment. So although I realize this is probably just my personal preference, I still have to give my honest review. It was more like a shimmery lip balm on my lips. Was moisturizing, but not what I'd normally look for in a lipstick. -

Sooooo delicious!!! I am not sure if I believe it is a "healthy alternative" however. It might be better than chips but it still has lots of salt and fat. Besides that I think it's a great, tasty treat!! Definitely recommend trying it!
