I usually just use the manual toothbrush. You know...the one that I get from the dentist when I go for a cleaning.
Finally I get to try an electric toothbrush.
Pros: It does really clean teeth much faster and quicker then my manual brush. My teeth feel clean at the end of each brushing. The brush head isn't too stiff so it didn't hurt my gums at all....and the toothbrush design felt like it cupped my teeth well (especially my back teeth), which I really liked. I loved that the toothbrush can just stand up on it's own as well...vs, putting it in a toothbrush holder or cup to keep it upright.
Cons: The motor is extremely loud. I have a tiny bathroom....and when I turn the toothbrush on it feels like I've turned a vacuum cleaner on. Since the bathroom is next to the bedroom.....I can't use this toothbrush in the morning because I get up before my hubby. :-P So I mean I can use it in the evening and still get a better brushing job and clean teeth....but I still have to use 2 toothbrushes.
If you don't mind the noise, for $14.99....it's a decent electric toothbrush. I'll continue using mine ...and I enjoy the squeaky clean feel of my teeth after every brush. :-)

I went on a weekend trip with a girlfriend and literally forgot my entire makeup bag.
To my horror....she was packing light and literally only brought these wipes (instead of cleanser, eye makeup remover, cotton pads, and toner).
I honestly thought my skin was going to break out because I love my cleansing routine and believe it's the way to clear , clean skin.
To my surprise....this product worked. I mean....it took off all the makeup, it cleansed and exfoliated my face, my face wasn't super dry afterwards, and I didn't break out after. I had to rub my eye area a little more then I usually would with a pad and eye makeup remover...but in a pinch, it didn't do badly. I used these for a few days.
If I was trying to pack really light for travel...I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a pack again. At home though, I still prefer my routine. :-)

NIVEA Express Eye Make-Up Remover
I picked this up because a friend recommended it to me...and I'm so glad I did. - it removes makeup quickly without needing to rub - it's kind of oily but face wash will take that away - it has no scent which is a plus! - it doesn't lead me to... +

- it doesn't lead me to breaking out or having around the eye area oil glands.
- it's way cheaper then department store brands
- it has a small opening for the product to come out of, I'm a klutz and well when I knock it over, I only lose a drop or two...not an entire bottle! :-)
I haven't used this with waterproof makeup though...but on non waterproof...it works excellently.
Worth picking up at the drugstore or supermarket chain.
Would recommend.

I usually just get Colgate total, I've been using it for years....it's good, not great....but I mean it's what I'm use to using, and it works. Generally toothpaste isn't one of those items you think of trying new brands in.
Chickadvisor sends me a tube of Arm&Hammer;Truly Radiant Clean & fresh toothpaste. What did I think? Well...when I was brushing....it foamed more then usual, likely due to the baking soda....but after brushing, I couldn't believe how long the "Clean & Fresh" lasted. It felt super minty and clean and fresh! It's quite a cool and nice feeling actually.
The only thing I wish they had, is a stand up cap so it doesn't take as much room on my very small bathroom counter, but other then that.....great toothpaste, inexpensive too.....feels great. I'll buy it again and highly recommend it!

Lots of strips in the box, and each strip is really 2 strips.
I'd buy these over getting a pot of wax for sure!
There wasn't any irritation but I really wished they would put in most post wax wipes...but I used some face toner and some aloe gel and it seemed to work just as well.

I tried and and found it pretty darn awesome. Most dry shampoos kinda give a grey tint because I have such dark hair....making it kinda gross and I don't want to use it. This one blends nicely....and hides my grey roots.
I still have yet to find residue on my white couch...which is nice, and white clothes...but that's a worry in the back of my mind.
This is actually a dry shampoo I would use! Would purchase this again!

I know it's a body oil, but I also use it for my face when I get out of the shower....and it works beautifully. This 120 mls will last a long time, with a scent that is just heavenly without being heavy. :-) The funny part is I read their facial oil and body oil ingredients and there really isn't much of a difference. I put some on my face once many nights ago and my skin has glowed ever since. This oil balances my skin and doesn't cause breakouts. It absorbs without any greasiness.
I am definitely addicted to their products now!
I've tried other oils, mostly facial oils....like la prairie dry oil and tarte Maracuja Oil ....but I definitely like this better.

I didn't even know Garnier had a skincare line until Chickadvisor....that's pretty cool. I'm glad I got to try this product, because generally I've always avoided Gel Moisturizers. I'm not sure why...I must have had a sample or two of various gel moisturizers throughout my life and it was gooey and sticky and left a film ...and sometimes flaked off when it finally dried up. It was good that I got a chance to try it from Chickadvisor or it's something I never would've purchased off the shelf.
Pros: It's not like the gel moisturizers of 10 years ago (which is my memory of gels). It went on cool and dried pretty quickly, it gave a slight gloss, but it wasn't icky. It was much nicer then I thought . I put it on at bedtime and woke up and my skin was nicely hydrated. I didn't break out either...which is great...meaning it's not too heavy for my skin.
Con: I still don't love the texture when I put makeup like BB cream or concealer on top during the daytime. I guess that's okay because I usually prefer a daytime SPF moisturizer during the day.
Would I keep using it? Yes...in the evening...it feels nice to put on, and my skin does look "plump" in the morning...in a good way.
Would I buy it again? Maybe....potentially more in the summer months, when a heavier cream based moisturizer is too much.
Well priced for the amount you are getting too....and the pump is nice so that the product stays sanitary. :-)

--- It's like a toner / cleanser in one. Since I don't wear super heavy makeup, or waterproof makeup.....it takes everything off....eye makeup, bb cream, mascara..... it's awesome.
--- It doesn't dry skin out: normally with my facewash...I get that tight dry face afterwards...and I'm leaping towards my moisturizer before my face turns into a prune..... oh hey....that doesn't happen anymore. :-)
--- It doesn't make me break out in acne - Normally more moisturizing cleansers are too greasy for me and I break out....this has yet to happen yet. SCORE!
Let's just say again that I LOVE THIS product....and I think regular price is $10.99 for a big bottle....which is insanely well priced for the product you are getting. I really didn't even know Garnier had a skincare line until Chickadvisor.....so good job Garnier!

If you need a blending sponge, just buy a pack of the sponge triangles....they will work much better, there are corners for you to do a good job around your nose an eye area.... and you can buy a whole bag super cheap.
Don't bother buying this thing. I got this for free to review from the product review club...and I really wanted to like it...but I don't.
Sorry Maybelline...on the plus side...your Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation was surprising and fantastic!
