I received the shampoo and conditioner samples from Vocal Point. I used them once and felt like my hair was lightly coated with a waxy residue, and couldn't style it as well as usual. My hair is thick, healthy and has lots of natural body, and after using the products it was a bit limp and difficult to style. The smell of the product was pleasant. The shampoo had a very thin lather, but felt silky on the hair. I was disappointed but not surprised at the waxy feel afterward (have had this with other Pantene products). I can't say if it really protects/extends the life of hair color, because I don't want to use this product on an ongoing basis, to avoid build-up. Sorry.
Also---I put in $6.99 which I found to be average retail of this product. I received a free small sample - so I didn't pay anything. I think this price is very high for a drugstore shampoo. Pantene really needs to lower their prices.

I was very disappointed that this product did not work well, as Covergirl advised on the packaging and the information I received with a sample of it. I tried the Silver Sky/Onyx Smoke (black and white) combo. It is a cream eye shadow stick that is supposed to be a quick easy way to get a "professional' smoky eye look. The product wouldn't glide across my clean eye lid well, and broke off (both ends!) I had to stick it back in the tube and try again. I tried it on clean skin, then again on clean skin with a light coat of moisturizer, and a third time with a light coat of eyeshadow primer - to see if I could get it to apply evenly ---each time it would not. It looked very blotchy and uneven. I hate to say this, but it felt like halloween store makeup - looked awful and I would definitely not wear this in public. I would maybe use the Onyx (Black) as eye liner but that is about it. It was just awful. I am curious though---if brown shades would look better? Not sure though, since I tried it 3 separate times/ways and had poor results. I would not recommend this product. Sorry Covergirl - because I really like your mascara, powder eyeshadows, lip glosses, etc! -

The product contains 36% of your daily fiber requirements -- 9 grams per bar! They are 110 calories, 4 grams of fat (0 Grams saturated fat).
The bar was delicious and very filling. I don't believe this is intended as a meal replacement bar - at only 110 calories, but a healthy, filling snack to help you get more fiber in your diet. It was almost like eating a candy bar, but without being too sweet. At first I was a bit worried that this much fiber might cause tummy distress - but not at all! My hunger was satisfied for probably 4-5 hours after eating the S'mores bar. I would definitely buy these again. They'd be great to take along when traveling, hiking, or anytime you want a satisfying healthy snack to satisfy you until your next meal time.

This place has the greatest service and ambience. It's a gem in downtown McHenry IL. The food is consistently delicious! The presentation is beautiful, portions are plentiful. We have an out-of-town friend who insists upon going to Bimbos EVERY time he visits us, because it is that good. The view over the Fox River is very relaxing and the decor is very understatedly beautiful. The building is a bit small, but this makes it all the more quaint. We have always gotten an excellent table during the week. I have heard that the wait is long on weekends --but this shows the popularity of the place. The parking can be a bit tricky sometimes with other downtown businesses sharing street parking spots. The prices are a bit high--but for all things considered---it is worth it. -

This cocoa butter lotion is a basic beauty must-have for all women! It soothes your skin after being out in the wind, or sun. Great for the whole body--including the face/lips especially in winter! It is so super moisturizing and soothing and is so gentle and natural. The scent is amazing. I slather it on after a day on the beach and it totally restores the moisture lost in the salt water or from a day at the pool, when chlorine can really dry the skin. I even use this on my dog's feet in the winter - it keeps her pads from drying and cracking which can be very painful. While I use sunscreen liberally any time I am going outdoors, I use this Cocoa Butter all the rest of the time - after baths, and shaving my legs. It keeps my skin looking and feeling so soft and young.

I can not use makeup remover around my eyes. I wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes. Every time I have tried various eye makeup remover solutions--they have felt like I've poured oil into my eyes, no matter how hard I try to keep them shut. Therefore I cannot and will not wear mascara that requires special eye makeup remover. Ugh!
This is the ONLY mascara I have been able to find that is waterproof yet is removable with soap & water! I love this product and hope they never discontinue it!
They offer only black and black-brown, which I find to be one drawback. I wish they had an Auburn Brown. Otherwise, I think this product is a very good quality for a drug-store brand. It goes on very smoothly, does not clump. Does not bother my sensitive eyes at all. Easily washes off with soap and water. It is about 98% waterproof -- if you sob, and cry for a long period of time, (LOL) you will see some color on your tissue...but I've never had it run or be very noticeable, honestly. When I have went to bed very tired a couple times, and forgotten to wash off my makeup---this mascara was not all over my pillow, or my face. It easily washed off in the morning.
I highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive eyes, or who cannot stand makeup remover...and doesn't want to pay $$$ for mascara. I don't like to pay big bucks for something you shouldn't keep for more than a couple months! I find this product just as good as other high end mascaras -- but better because of the washability!

Can't say enough good about this place. Stacy, the owner and therapist I've seen is very knowledgeable and highly skilled. A friend who had been injured in a car accident had referred me to Harmony Falls. She told me this was the best place locally for anyone who suffers from chronic pain. I have to agree!
Besides regular stress-relief and relaxation massage---they offer a wide range of therapeutic healing massage --- pre & post-natal, geriatric, sports massage, massage treatment for cancer patients, and so much more.
Stacy makes you feel like more than just a client. She really takes the time to talk with you and learn your needs and issues, and is very skilled at providing the perfect therapy for you. She is very knowledgable and offered recommendations to ease my chronic back pain, things I can do to strengthen my body and control my pain naturally.
Harmony Falls is simple to find from Route 47. Has very nice, easy parking. To me, the price is worth the therapy you receive here. I would defintely return and recommend Harmony Falls to friends and neighbors!

I’ve found it to be pleasantly light, non-greasy and very hydrating to my skin. It has little or no scent at all, and a little really does go a long way. A dime sized drop covers my entire face, neck, and décolletage area. I wear it under my makeup and was happy to find that by the end of the day, my face is still soft, doesn’t look or feel greasy and my makeup doesn’t look creased or faded as it has after using some lotions. I’ve also been wearing it on my arms, legs, hands and elbows. I normally have really rough ashy elbows year round. In the three weeks that I’ve been using this lotion my elbows have become very soft and have lost that grayish color. My skin has been softer and less itchy, and irritated. I also have used it on my son, whose Asian skin is very sensitive and prone to Eczema and noticed no adverse reaction, only soft moist skin.
My one concern or a slight drawback is that this product only has SPF 15. I am prone to Melasma (dark spots on the face caused by medications and hormones) and should really use a higher SPF on my face. I don’t believe this product can be offered in a higher SPF due to the natural ingredients used. To that effect, I have layered Skin MD SPF 15 and another higher SPF face lotion on my melasma spots and still had very positive results.
The cost for a 4 oz. bottle is $25 for the SPF 15 lotion, and $18 for the original Shielding Lotion. It seems a bit pricey--but again, a little bit goes a long way---more so than most lotions and the results are worth it! Skin MD Natural also offers an unconditional guarantee of satisfaction. This product is amazing! This really IS insurance for your best looking eye shadow. It is an eyeshadow primer , applied to the eyelid before the cosmetics. The product is skin toned, and a little goes a long way. It seals and preps the eyelid to give a perfect base for either cream or powder eyeshadow.
Shadow insurance makes any eyeshadow super blendable, intensifies the color, and helps prevent flaking, creasing, blotching, or melting until you remove your makeup. It extends the coverage of your shadow, therefore you don't have to use quite as much product to get a beautiful effect.
This product is one of my absolute faves. It goes on so silky and smoothly. It makes even inexpensive eyeshadow or the most boring shades look like a million bucks. This is definitely one of my cosmetic bag MUST HAVE items!
