I do love the idea of conditioner only washing. And this conditioner seems to be very highly respected within the curl community. However; unfortunately for me and anybody else with protein sensitive hair, this will not be for you. Coconut mimics protein and my hair certainly knows it after using this. The smell is to die for and the packaging very pretty. But for almost 15 dollars a bottle I am very disappointed to learn that it does not work for my hair type. Overall though, I’ve seen some incredible curl results from others using this product. -

The smell is as bad as the shampoo, and it’s a smell that I just can’t grow to love. The conditioner itself does not have great slip which I find I have to use ALOT of product just to detangle the mess left by the shampoo. It certainly does define curls as advertised but I’m not sold on all the other cons that come with this conditioner. I’ve tried to love it and I just don’t, especially not for over 12 dollars a bottle. Seems to be one of those products that you either love or hate and I just don’t love it. -

This product (and all Shea products) are highly raved about within the CGM community. I immediately got choked out by the scent but was bound to like it. After going through the whole bottle I am sad to say that I don’t. The bottle is awkward to try and get such a runny product directly onto the scalp, and it seems that my hair just absorbs it all instantly. It left my hair feeling tangled and knotted, despite having neither before getting in the shower. For over 12 dollars a bottle I am not at all sold on the scent, effect or packaging. -

And each and every one is worth the price, which isn’t high. I am forever amazed at the low cost of these hair masks, which are great for people like me that love healthy hair but have very little time to put into it. Each mask serving a different purpose, they all leave my hair super soft and my curls feeling lightweight and bouncy. The scents are to die for (especially the banana). Found at any local Walmart, these really are a breakthrough for natural hair care. -

I found this at Sally’s in search of an affordable CGM approved conditioner. This has been my holy grail since. I use it as both a co-wash and a daily conditioner for my low porosity , 2A curls. The slip is incredible meaning you only need to use very little to detangle. I usually let it set while I complete my shower and then rinse completely. It is a heavy product so I pay extra attention to my scalp. It intensely moisturizers my curls and creates beautiful large clumps. As with most humectant rich products it does not work as well in high humidity. -

It lathers well but does strip lots of oils so be sure to use sparingly (as with all clarifying shampoos). I found this at Sally’s in search of an affordable, all natural shampoo for my curls. It’s been my staple ever since. Caution against using in high humidity due to the humectants and frizz. -

I got this for my husband, he tried all 3 products from this specific line. As much as I enjoy the scent (and he does too), he was hesitant to use it as a face soap with fears of it burning the eyes. Surprisingly he says it didn’t and that it actually left his skin feeling fresh clean and airy. It doesn’t leave a residue as some other heavy soaps do and doesn’t dry out his skin. Happy with the line, and as always not disappointed with my Dove products.

I got this for my husband and the scent is absolutely invigorating. I can smell it as soon as he puts it on, but not so much that it’s overwhelming. It’s got a very masculine scent (which I as a woman greatly enjoy), and it lasts up to a day and a half without a need to reapply. As all Dove products, it’s affordable for anybody on a budget and lasts a long time.

I got this for my husband, who has very nice soft curls. It’s got a sexy scent which lasts for what seems like days, but it does not work as a conditioner as it states. However this is not uncommon for 2in1 and especially for 3in1. The price of the product is reasonable considering a very little goes a long way. I will be buying this product for him in the future as he’s fallen in love with the scent (as have I). Never disappointed with any Dove products.
