Garnier Fructis Style Brilliantine Shine Wax
Fantastic for funky short styles, works so much better than gel/mousse and even other pomades I've used before. Once I grew my hair out it was terrible. Nice scent.

Warm scarf and gloves (aqua)
Need to have warm stuff if you're going to live in Winnipeg! I picked this because of the colour (other colours avail). Nice soft fleece material. Scarf is $30, matching gloves are $23.

Vicks VapoRub Topical Ointment
This stuff works great. I rollerblade a lot and I like to rub this product on sore muscles. The best use though, is when I have a stuffy nose and/or cough. My humidifier has a little cup set near the top; I put a blob of Vaporub in it and my room... +
This stuff works great. I rollerblade a lot and I like to rub this product on sore muscles. The best use though, is when I have a stuffy nose and/or cough. My humidifier has a little cup set near the top; I put a blob of Vaporub in it and my room is filled with menthol and eucalyptus vapours which soothes my nose and throat all night. I prefer this way over pills (which don't work at all for me). You can also smear it on your upper chest so that you breathe it in, but that makes me break out. -

They also have very affordable swimming lessons for all skill levels, as well as aquasizing, etc. -

The Bridge Drive-In
A cool place, very popular. Selection and quality is not bad, but I've had better. I go here because you can sit overlooking the river or go for a walk down the bridge. It's like a little oasis in the middle of a busy neighbourhood.
