I bought the matte top coat (as well as some other essie polishes) from a L'Oreal warehouse sale. The application for this top coat (and the other polishes) is streaky and disappointing. Also, the brush itself isn't very good. I like brushes that are a little flattened out in order to cover the nail better but the essie polishes just have regular, round, thin brushes. Good thing I got them on sale, otherwise it would have been a true waste of money. -

Although it feels and smells great to put on, I didn't notice a big change in my skin after washing it off. Maybe it would be more effective with repeated tries but so far, not much has changed. -

I bought this eyeliner on sale for ~$7 at Shoppers. On the back of my hand, it seemed really good. Very pigmented (like gel) and smooth application. However, on my eyelids it smudged very soon, even with eyelid primer. Not worth it. Super dark and smooth formula though. Possibly would work better if you don't have greasy lids like I do. -
