I was looking for something that I could use almost like a primer, but less heavy duty on days I am not putting on makeup. I have very dry skin and this is not moisturizing enough for me to use on its own. Maybe I bought a lemon, but mine has almost...texture to it, it's slightly gritty. This was not something I was expecting at all and really ruined the whole thing, it doesn't feel nice when it goes on and it strips my face of the nice feeling from other moisturizers.
CONS: tube leaks when sat down without cap (why couldn't it be in a pump bottle?), mine has a weird texture to it
PROS: love the smell, it does provide some refinement to the skin, definitely matte and lasts pretty well
If you are looking for something that will help mattify your face and just tweak your skin to look a little smoother and more "blurred" I would say try this, do not expect it to be a BB cream.

So I use this after my moisturizer on days that I don't feel like putting on makeup, to make sure my skin stays nice and dewy, and for a bit of SPF. I have very dry skin and would not use this product by itself because it would not be moisturizing enough.
CONS: it's really annoying that this is not in a pump bottle like the normal moisture products-this leaked all over the first few times I used it when I set it down uncapped, no real tone correcting going on
PROS: brightening without being sparkly, SPF, doesn't clog pores, did not irritate my sensitive skin
If you are looking for a replacement BB cream this is not it, if you are looking for something to enhance your natural skin that doesn't have any colour in it I totally recommend this. It makes me feel like I added a level of refinement to my face at the end of my routine.

I find that because my skin is so dry that I am constantly layering on heavy creams, my nose and chin can get a little slick underneath makeup, and I like to use a face cream that is meant to help control oiliness on occasion.
CONS: I find that it makes no difference to the actual nose and chin area, tends to feel like its getting "caught" on some area of my face (becasue they are so dry?), I almost wish there was a bit of a fragrance because it just kind of smells like glue to me
PROS: great size bottle, the packaging works well, does not clog pores, does not irritate my sensitive skin
For me this will not be something I will buy again it just did not make enough of an improvement upon my normal face that I feel it is worth it.

CONS: the smell is almost too strong
PROS: has SPF, moisturizing, doesn't clog pores. non-greasy.
Is this an absolute solution to dry skin, no, but I recently saw it on sale for 6 dollars at my local Walmart. Honestly, the price combined with the effectiveness (and I love the packaging) makes it more than worth it, even if it needs to be applied more than once a day.

I have been using Aveeno products for about 10 years, this or a similar Aveeno body lotion is an absolute staple for me. If you have dry skin that flakes and gets tight this is perfect for upkeep and relief that truly does last for a while.
