I was on the fence about MR for months. After all, everyone was so excited about it. Admittedly, it did call to me because of the pinks and golds, but it was something the makeup world hadn't seen since the likes of the Naked 3-- which bombed.
I finally purchased this with a birthday giftcard, and I am so glad I did. The shadows are smooth and blend easily. Despite how scary they look (RED EYESHADOW?) you can transform them easily by using two of the eyeshadows together and making a unique colour. You can create an average, everyday look, or a smokier one. And the shadows last forever as they're so pigmented you only need a tiny tap on your brush.

I am NC30-NC40, depending on how much sun I've got, and I have dry skin prone to acne.
The IT Cosmetics CC cream recently landed in Canada, and I finally tried it out. At Sephora, the foundation retails for $49, which is fairly up there in price (but isn't everything at Sephora?) It comes in 7 shades, with 32 mL of product. I am a shade Medium.
First off: c'mon, IT cosmetics. Do better. Add more shades!
Second: this foundation contains SPF, which is great, but can also cause flashback in flash photography.
Third: A little goes a long way with this CC Cream, and I love that. I used it everyday for two months and still have a considerable amount left in the tube. I would consider the finish radiant, and almost oily: you definitely need to set it, which seems counterproductive to the concept of it being just a tinted CC cream.
However, on days where my rosacea and acne were out of control, this counteracted it like no other foundation in my collection. I was really impressed by how seamlessly it blended out with both a brush or a sponge. It doesn't dry fast, which makes it workable. It takes other products very well, so you don't see crumbling or creasing with powders, blushes, contour, or highlighter. Even after powdering your face, the dewiness is evident, and works well in the wintertime.
It is not drying and after a day of wear, it still looks fresh!
If they released a shade between Medium and Medium Tan - - I would definitely purchase again.

However, I find there is a lot of serum in the bottom of the package, and there are cheaper face masks on the market -- but harder to find at your everyday grocery store -- that do the job. -

It has been a month since I began using the CosRX Whitehead and Blackhead Essence. I use the AHA in the evening, and the BHA in the morning.
I live in a dry, cold climate, and overexfoliation killed my moisture barrier that was damaged by the prairie winters already. It took me six months to repair the moisture barrier in my skin. When I decided to return to chemical exfoliants, I knew I needed something which was not harsh and abrasive to my skin. Enter: CosRx.
I love Korean skincare, and CosRx is no exception. The gentleness of the BHA is really effective if you're using the item properly. I layer it on immediately after washing my face, and wait five minutes before applying any other essences, ampoules, or serums. Please note that you should not exfoliate everyday! It's not good for your skin.
In conjunction with the AHA, this has been a miracle. My closed comedones have shrunk significantly, and I have less blackheads. Because it is not drying, I also have a glow to my skin which was not there before. It has no fragrance and does not sting on application.
I am a long way away from clear skin still -- but the pictures show you the redness and inflammation, as well as breakouts I was experiencing, and the calmness of my skin a month later.
