Finding a good primer to use with mineral makeup is difficult. The best part about this primer is how hydrating it is. Mineral makeup does not properly sink in on dry skin if it’s not prepped properly, so this is a key step for the most natural look. I like that it does not pill/ball up when you apply it. There is a strong citrus scent to it but I don’t notice it after a few minutes. It's awesome that this product is cruelty-free and doesn’t have talc/silicones/parabens. I don’t find the primer to be pore-filling but this doesn’t surprise me, as it’s silicone-free. On its own, it's not mattifying, so I'm not sure it would be the best option for oily people. This pairs super well with the radiant loose powder foundation from nude by nature. I like how this primer performs and would recommend it to anyone looking for a loose powder foundation primer! I have tried many mineral loose powder foundations. This is the most finely milled one I have tried so far. As a result, it’s very easy to apply and achieve a natural look. The coverage is buildable; it starts of sheer and can be built up to medium coverage. It has a more radiant/satin finish which I prefer over overly matte foundations. It still does a good job at controlling oil and lasts for an 8-hour workday. It feels like you’re not wearing any makeup since it’s so lightweight. I love that it’s cruelty-free and doesn’t have talc/silicones/parabens. The packaging is chic and feels premium. There’s a little sifter in the middle where you poke your brush to dispense product, instead of having to shake it out (which can be super messy with powder foundations). It is very easy to blend products like bronzer/blush on top of this foundation. W2 (2nd lightest warm shade) leans orange. Protip: if you take a small blender brush and overload it with this foundation, you can stipple it on top of areas that need more coverage. Let it sit for a few moments and then lightly brush the excess off. If you can find your shade, I highly recommend it! I received this product for free for review. -

No one likes picking little brush hairs off their face after applying makeup. I like that the handle is short. It’s easier to store/travel with (who needs a really long handle, really?). It feels like a high quality, well rounded brush. I received this product for free for review. I would recommend it! It's my favourite brush to use to apply mineral foundation and to blend out blush/bronzer. -

This has to be one of my only regular drugstore makeup purchases. It's an awesome price and gets the job done well. I like that the end is always sharpened and ready to use. I find hard to find eyebrow pencils that lean dark grey rather than straight up black. My hair is black but I find black eyebrow pencils look too harsh. I use the shade ebony which is a very dark grey, so I don't find it too harsh. It stays in place, it applies easily and it's the perfect shade for me. It looks very natural, I get compliments all the time. -

This is one of the most unique perfumes I've encountered at Sephora. It smells like chocolate marshmallows roasting on a fire - which isn't even something I'm fond of, but somehow I love smelling like this. I have yet to encounter someone who dislikes this smell! I love to spray it all over my favourite hoodies in the winter when I'm lazing around my house. This lingers for quite a long time on clothes. It's sweet but doesn't trigger migraines for me (a miracle). The smokey quality at first spray is divine but does take a backseat as time passes. -

I always come back to this foundation. I apply it with a very damp beauty blender to avoid any cakiness. This is the only foundation I trust to last me the whole day in humid conditions. I just wish they had my exact shade - I'm in between 1n1 and 1w1, the difference between the two shades is pronounced. It covers blemishes excellently and has enough flexibility to not exaggerate wrinkles. The 15 hour wear time is no joke. It really should come with a pump but it doesn't. The formula reminds me a lot of Revlon Colorstay, except without such a pronounced smell. This is the only foundation I don't bother set with powder. -

I find that the ultra matte formula is a bit aging. It isn't the most forgiving to any kind of texture (blemishes, wrinkles) on the face and can exaggerate these issues, but it does cover the actual issue very well. You just don't want anyone to get too close to your face lol. I sometimes mix it with primer on the back of my hand and then apply it to sheer it out a bit. The shade I have (L 43) is one of the newer additions and doesn't oxidize at all compared to some of the older shades. I prefer Estee Lauder Double Wear's formula... but they don't have my exact shade match like KVD does. -

The shade range is impressive and if you have oily, smooth skin this will look incredible on you. However, if you have texture or fine lines, it will exaggerate those spots even with prep. It dries quickly so you'll need to move fast. It really does look simply beautiful on any of the spots without texture. It does oxidize a bit darker once it dries. I have the shade 130 which is fair yellow-olive, which is quite rare to come across (similar shades are KVD 43 and Nars Gobi). It doesn't last as long as some other long wearing foundations (Estee Lauder Double Wear and Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion will outlast this still) but it does a very good job still. It does not fade gracefully, however. -

This is a really easy to use fake tanner to use and it's affordable. I apply this before going to bed. I exfoliate extensively, mositurize hands/knees/elbows, apply this with a tanning mitt, wait a few min for it to dry, then put on some clothes. It doesn't rub off on my sheets but occasionally there's a mark or two on my clothes. I wash it off in the morning and it looks natural. I usually will do it two nights in a row because I don't find it dark enough (I've only purchased the medium version). It smells pretty strong but it's kind of a fruity smell, not a gross smell or anything. I don't find it too orange. Let's call it golden. -

One of the worst mascaras I have ever used. I bought this on impulse instead of repurchasing my favourite mascara and I regret it. The applicator is huge and difficult to work with, you can easily smear your eyelid when using this product. It lengthens nicely, but does a terrible job at separating. So you get these long but clumped eyelashes. In theory, you could wiggle around the brush while applying and make it separate more, but since the brush is enormous, you will likely smear it on your eyelid once you try. It does nothing for thickness or volume. The claims of having 50x the volume are misleading. Very disappointed. -
