However, I gave some to my toddler and he was really grossed out by the taste - he kept saying yuck for several minutes and had to drink water to try and wash his mouth. I tried it too and found the aftertaste to be awful and lasted a while in my mouth. -

This was my first time trying a Joni pad and I am so impressed. Everything is so well thought out. The pad is nice and wide, for full coverage of a regular underwear. The wings stay in place. There are “bumper lanes” so that there is absolutely no chance of the liquid leaking out. And there’s charcoal for odour control. Knowing the ingredients of the pad makes me feel so much better because it’s important to steer clear of chemicals near our intimate areas! The pads are made from natural corn, Ecocert organic bamboo, wood pulp, polymer, plant-based PLA & PBAT, food-grade adhesive, and activated charcoal. AND they’re free of pesticides, dyes, toxins, latex, formaldehyde, and fragrances. I wore the pad all day and barely felt it there.

If your kid loves hot dogs but you’re hesitant about what is actually in a hot dog, then these turkey franks will save the day. It’s 100% turkey meat and gluten free and still delivers in terms of flavour. I air fried mine then cut them up to put in mac and cheese and it was nice and juicy and had some bounce to it. Would recommend as a healthier hot dogs alternative.

This is good! Usually when I eat bacon it is the pork one, but I love healthier alternatives and I think I prefer turkey bacon now after trying this. It’s not as greasy, but still crisps up and I feel like I’m consuming less fat and salt with the turkey bacon without compromising on texture and flavour. I’d opt for this turkey bacon over pork bacon for weekend brunches.

Super neat toy! It comes in a cool box with a “try me tab” which shows a preview mode.
To me it feels like a modern day tamagochi with more features and technology. The compact size is perfect for taking on the go. You can adjust the volume too. The way it works is that there’s a flap that goes continuously up and down, with some led lights at the edge forming pictures.
You can embark on expeditions to find fossils, then put the fossils bones in the dna replicator to turn into an egg, then you wait for the egg to incubate and when it’s ready it gives an alert for you to “crack” the egg open. You can play games too, and even battle against another jurassic world bitzee.
At first I couldn’t figure out how to get to new levels because the QR code that led to the instruction page didn’t yet have the jurassic world bitzee on it. But we figured it out with some trial and error! My toddler got the hang of this within a day, and he gets really excited when the notification comes up saying the dino is either hungry, has pood, or is sick.
It requires 3 batteries to operate, whereas I wish it had option to charge by usb-c. Otherwise, not much to comment about in terms of improvements or suggestions. Even the adults in the household have been playing with this and find it really fun.

I’m all about mineral sunscreens after gaining knowledge about all the chemicals that go into the alternative. I feel that over the years, mineral sunscreens have come a long way - from having a white film that doesn’t rub in, to easy and non greasy absorption. This is what the blue lizard sensitive sunscreen is: doesn’t leave any white residues on the skin and it feels a bit greasy at first but that goes away within minutes. I love the peace of mind using a mineral sunscreens and the spf 50 and sensitive components of this one are key.

This action figure is fun for kids and adults alike. My son was so excited to receive this, he ran around with it at the park and playground and wouldn’t let go of it. We had great fun posing Superman in different scenarios. The arms and legs have several points of rotation and can rotate at different angles which allows for lots of positions you can put Superman in (you can even twist his lower leg such that his feet are facing the wrong way). The Superman came with a “collect to build” piece which is a neat idea but I don’t think I would collect the other 5 superheros just to get the different body parts for the bonus item. So it seems a bit wasteful for me. Otherwise, great action figure and hours of entertainment! -
