This is the body wash that keeps on going - even after the bath/shower. It is great for sensitive and dry skin because it is fragrance free and soap free, AND the best part is that the more you use it, the more it will strengthen your skin’s resilience. I really enjoyed using this product. It gave a good lather, and was easy to apply. It left my skin feeling nourished coming out of the shower, and kept it nourished for the rest of the day. It’s like the gift that keeps on giving! A lot of body washes will dry out your skin and strip away essential things, but this Aveeno body wash does the opposite. -

This Calm and Restore oat repairing lotion has prebiotic oat, aloe, and provitamin B5. It is packed with great ingredients to nourish the skin. I really liked the effectiveness of the lotion (very hydrating), but I found that it was a bit sticky on application. After a few minutes the stickiness went away, but it kind of reminded me of when I make oatmeal and there’s a stickiness sometimes? The product has a slight natural scent to it (no fragrances are added but I can smell the oat, etc.) -

A daily moisturizing cream for eczema prone skin! I love having something on hand to apply daily, to keep the eczema at bay. It’s better to prevent than it is to treat, and this cream does both. I appreciate that it is accepted by the Eczema Society of Canada. And I also love that it is fragrance free. Let’s be real - if we’re dealing with eczema we do NOT want anything extra (like fragrances) on our skin. We just want to relieve the symptoms. This daily moisturizing cream for eczema care was easy to apply and more importantly IT WORKS! -

What an amazing thing for eczema! The consistency of this gel feels kind of like a serum. It has for fluid/hydration content (unlike a thick cream), which makes it easy to apply and spread around. It is actually fragrance free as advertised. And the results were awesome. It really helps the eczema, and soothes it right away. This is my first time seeing or trying a gel product for eczema and I am completely sold!! -

This contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid to restore the skin’s moisture barrier. I think this is especially important and makes sense as a night time product, because the benzoyl peroxide and salycylic acid are more drying. I love that Panoxyl has moisturizers geared for acne prone skin, as you never know if a regular moisturizer is going to make your skin oily or cause any breakouts.

I love that this AM moisturizer includes SPF. It comes in a smaller tube with a pump dispenser. I found that I had to really rub it in to get the white colour to dissipate but once it did, there were no streaks and no shine. I have been using this in the morning after the acne wash and exfoliant. I find that the oil control is very effective but it is not super moisturizing.

This is a liquid and at sure I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to pour it on a pad to apply, or just drip it onto my fingers and apply. I ended up doing the latter. I have been using this in the morning, after the acne wash cleanser (above). It was convenient to just be able to leave it on after application. It has 2% Salicylic Acid to help clear and prevent acne. I wish the instructions would clarify whether you’re supposed to put moisturizer on afterwards. It wasn’t clear to me, but I applied moisturizer over top anyway. Overall, effective product but I wish the instructions were more clear.

It says to test this on a small spot for 3 days, to check for sensitivity before doing your whole face. And to start with once daily. I first tested it on my chin, and didn’t have sensitivity to it. I have been using it in the morning on my face as the first step in my Panoxyl acne regimen. The scent reminds me of a swimming pool. I left it on for 2 minutes as instructed and then wiped it off. I wasn’t used to a cleanser needing to stay on for w minutes before rinsing so wasn’t sure what to do while waiting. This cleanser works well and is gentle enough for daily use.

This was my first time trying Toms of Maine deodorant. I love that it is aluminum free, dermatologist tested, and not tested on animals. It has both odour and wetness protection too. The scent I got to try was Rose Vanilla, and it’s not the usual type of scent I would choose for a deodorant (sweet and floral). When I first smelled it from the tube, I wasn’t sure I was a fan of the scent. But actually once I applied it, it was quite nice. It was subtle and fresh, and stayed that way. I found the odour protection part to be true for me, but not the wetness protection. After about an hour, my armpit was not dry anymore. -

There are SO many great things about this sunscreen including that it is mineral sunscreen (goodbye chemicals), has broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection, is water resistant, has a high SPF of 50 (I consider this high for a mineral sunscreen, and generally too), good for sensitive skin, and reef safe (the coral reef will thank you!!). What an incredible list. But what about the application? I have tried several other mineral sunscreens before and I know some can be super sticky and leave white streaks all over my skin. Well, I can say that @bluelizardsunscreen lives up to the awards that it has won. I don’t know how they did it, but they did. They created a superstar mineral sunscreen that rubs in easily, is not sticky, and does not leave any white streaks. It is fragrance free as well, so perfect for sensitive skin. And the consistency of the sunscreen as you can see in the 2nd photo is liquidy so it is easy to spread on the skin. I may have found a new favourite sunscreen 😍 ☀️ -
