The other day I was having a monumental break out but I was going to a fancy event that night and wanted to look my best. The foundation that I had wasn't cutting it. I almost never wear foundation unless I have a breakout, and since I was so desperate, I went to the store and scoured the every-day cosmetics wall. A random lady passing by told me that she LOVES this stuff, so I thought I would give it a try. As soon as I put it on my face I was super impressed. It did such a good job of covering up blemishes, you hardly knew they were there, the redness was gone, it wasn't oily at all. Once you rub it in, it doesn't feel at all like you're wearing makeup, and when you sweat it doesn't come off. You don't have to re-apply all day long.
This stuff seriously rocks, definitely pick it up and give it a try.

I have never been one for hair serums and other specialty hair products, but I had a few samples in my cupboard and was feeling fancy one day and tried it out. The first thing you'll notice is how amazing it smells, and the smell lasts in your hair throughout the whole day, and sometimes even into the next day, especially if you tie your hair up. I put it in right after I towel dry my hair, work it through with my hands and then my brush, and when my hair dries it is MUCH shinier than usual, it is totally smooth, there is no frizziness for the whole day (which is a serious problem for me and my super thick hair, especially in the winter time). I use it about two times a week. I absolutely recommend it!! I get mine from Winners, and the price is lower I find. -

I've recently been on the lookout for a new fragrance that's a reasonable price, and I happened upon this body lotion on sale. It smells great: think grandma's Talcum powder, but with a modern, slightly more floral twist. I was double attracted to it since it also boasted giving you a nice shimmer, but I was underwhelmed in the shimmer department. Despite that lack of shimmer, I love the smell, and I still feel extra fancy putting it on. Because it's a lotion, I find that the scent lasts longer as a subtle scent that isn't overwhelming. If I had to give it a rating I'd give it a solid 3.5/5! Check it out if you're feelin' fancy. -
