e.l.f. Cosmetics Essential Eyelid Primer

So, let me state that I'm no make-up pro ... but this stuff rocks! I can't believe I went 15 make-up wearing years without using an eyelid primer! What a difference it makes!
A little goes a long way, just a dab or two lightly patted across the lid does the trick. Allow to set before applying eyeshadow, and voila! Lovely colour, the way it was intended to be! It goes on smooth, leaves the lids in perfect condition for make-up application.
Would definitely recommend this stuff - and the price is unbeatable for the quality!

The lovelies at Chick Advisor sent me Sultry Sunset #168 and the Weekly Top Coat to test out.
Overall: I do like the product. I wasn't thrilled at the colour I received until I actually painted my nails with it, then I fell in love. The product goes on smooth - if you do thin coats. A little goes a long way. The polish dries quickly between coats if they are thin, as well :) Not a horribly offensive smell like many other polishes.
Wear: The polish and top coat claim "weekly", although I never quite made it a week without chips. In the defense of the nail polish - my job is very hard on fingers, constantly hitting the ends of them off of metal. The longest stretch I have made without chips was 4 days, which again, with my job, I find considerably good since most polishes don't last one shift without chipping.
I like the shine this polish has, and I also like the added strength it seems to give my nails when I am wearing it.
The price point is a bit off for me, maybe if it were a couple dollars cheaper, I'd be more sold on it.
In the end: I find this to be a decent product that lives pretty close to it's claims. I wouldn't hesitate to share this product with a friend as I think it is fairly good quality under normal circumstances. I would probably purchase it if it were on sale, not so sure I'd pay full price for it though.

Oh. My. Gosh! THIS is the ultimate snack I've been waiting for!
YUM! Dark chocolate, nuts and cranberry/blackberry -- excellent! I tested 3 different kinds of Brookside bars and this one was by far my favourite! The flavour is the perfect combination. The bars are filling and have some nutritional value to them. They're moist -- not dry as dust like most others.
Will absolutely be purchasing these again, even the kids loved them!

I am happy to have found a quick snack that provides a nutritious punch! These Brookside Fruit & Nut Bars are fantastic! Although, I have to admit, this Cherry with Pomegranate was not my favourite flavour. I am still giving it the best rating though, as it's just my personal preference ... I am not a pomegranate fan. My kids, however, liked the piece I gave them.
Overall great texture - not dry, like so many bars are! And is a great hold over between meals.
I will buy Brookside Dark Chocolate Fruit and Nut bars again, just not this flavour :)

How excited I was to try these bars! I am often looking for quick snacks that have some nutritional value to them, that won't break the bank and I do believe I've found them!
I've always loved the taste of chocolate and fruit together, and had never tried Acai before ... this was a delicious combination! Each flavour compliments the other, and the bars are NOT dry, which is a pet-peeve of mine. They were quite satisfying and held me over between meals, when normally I'd be ready to gnaw my own hand off from hunger.
In short, I'm glad I had the opportunity to try these bars, and will most certainly be purchasing them again!

GelMoment is an awesome one-step gel nail polish that has completely changed my views on painting my nails!
I've never been much of one for painting my nails; I'd no sooner apply the polish and it would end up chipped or peeling off. I have incredibly soft nails, anyway, so they'd usually break as well - not much point in spending time on them.
That was until I tried GelMoment!
It is a gel polish that goes on, and is cured in one minute under a UV lamp. That's IT! One minute, and my nails are set for at least two weeks! Two coats can be done for a flawless, bold finish, but I'm usually OK with just one. And my weak nails? Well, they're unbreakable with this stuff on! The finish is smooth as glass, and does not chip for a couple of weeks, if applied properly.
The only down fall (there's always a downfall, right?) is the price. Purchasing on your own, you're looking at $25/bottle ... ouch! But, for a little perspective ... to go to a nail salon and have a shellac manicure, you're looking at about $25 per trip ... so, it does save in the long run.
However, if you partner with the company, the polish is half price. The beauty is there are no auto-ships, no monthly minimums, hidden fees, etc., but that's not what this post is about ;)
Overall, I'm in love with the product! I went from a plain, no colour gal to one that's rockin' some awesome shades. Despite the price, I will continue to purchase and recommend GelMoment! :D

Personally, I am only a fan of the Chocolate shake. I found the Vanilla too, well, vanilla ... and I did not care for the dairy-free berry flavour.
These shakes are very easy to incorporate into one's daily lifestyle; packed full of nutrition, they are a welcome addition to most people's meal plan I am sure. However, the price is a huge turn-off for me. Yes, nutrition is priceless ... but in reality, there are nutritionally equivalent meal replacements out there that are much less in cost factor, and much easier to obtain, without needing to be a paid member or have a pushy distributor trying to sell you the moon.
Overall, I love the shakes and nutritional benefit and I will continue to purchase, all the while wishing that Isagenix would lower their prices :D

I sat on the fence for the longest while with this product, but I've used it long enough now that I think I can give it an honest review.
I have been using Younique mascara for about a year now, and I have to admit, when I first used it, my lashes were clumpy and nasty looking. Yes, the mascara gave me added length, but I couldn't stop them from clumping and bunching together. I was beyond frustrated but forced myself to continue to use the product as I had splurged on the price.
I realized after a while that it was more so the instructions that were flawed, rather than the mascara itself. The leaflet that comes with the lashes instructs you to apply a base coat of your regular mascara, then the gel, then the fibers and then the gel, again. After playing around, trying different variations, I discovered that if I didn't apply my regular mascara at all, and went VERY sparingly with the Younigue gel, that I could do multiple thin coats and build my lashes until they looked perfect. Haven't had a clumping problem since!
This really is a great product for those looking to lengthen their lashes, add some volume or just be bold! My only snag is the price point. While the product does last a while, the price is still triple what I'd normally pay ... a little $$ shock value to the wallet.
I would recommend to a friend ... and will definitely be purchasing again.

I have struggled for a long time with my hair (particularly my dry scalp) and recently one of my regular shampoos began to irritate it. On the hunt for a new shampoo and after reading many reviews, I decided to give L'Oreal Paris Re-Nutrition Shampoo & Conditioner a try.
Uhm ... wow!
First thing, the smell is amazing! It's one of those scents that makes you stop, close your eyes, take a long deep breath and exhale slowly.
The shampoo lathers nicely, not a lot of product is required, which is a great thing! It rinses very well, too. The conditioner is very much the same, not a lot of product required. My hair felt incredibly smooth after rinsing and there was no residue left behind.
After almost two weeks of use, my scalp has not bothered me once and my natural shine is back - I haven't had that in years! And back to the smell -- the scent actually stays in your hair after drying! I have had compliments coming like crazy about how good my hair smells!
Well done, L'Oreal! I will definitely be buying this product again and I have already recommended it to numerous people! :)

Up until this review, I had never used an electronic toothbrush before. I always found them rather pricey and didn't figure I'd waste the money.
My first time using it was a very different experience. It most certainly felt odd, but I fell in love! The bristles of the brush head get in many more places than my usual toothbrush and my teeth were left feeling unbelievably clean, like when you first leave the dentist! I could see a visible difference at the base of my teeth along the gum line the first time using it - sooo clean! I would definitely agree that it removes 100% more plaque than manual toothbrushes!
The brush is firm enough to clean your teeth, but gentle enough to not damage them or your gums. It works great for cleaning your tongue, too! I like that the toothbrush overall isn't heavy and clunky. It's light weight, the handle is designed in a way that makes it easier to hold & the brush head comes off without a hassle when it comes time to replace it.
The Spinbrush is relatively inexpensive and the package of two replacement heads cost no more than buying two replacement manual toothbrushes.
Overall, I am completely satisfied with my Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Truly Radiant Toothbrush and will continue using it faithfully. My teeth feel fantastic and look super clean - that makes it all worth it to me! I will definitely recommend this product to others!
