At this point in time, the new generation of video game consoles have all been released by the major manufacturers (Sony's PS4, Microsoft's Xbox One, and Nintendo's Wii U). While some systems easily become obsolete with the arrival of new consoles, the PS3 is unmatched in terms of its value:
PROS:
- incredibly large library of games that also happen to be very cheap; the best titles on the system can be found for fractions of the price of a newly released current gen. game
- excellent media player: the PS3 has apps for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, BBC, NHL GameCentre, NBA and MLB. It can also stream videos and music from your computer/home network
- CHEAP. You can get a PS3 for less than $150 nowadays, cheaper if you buy one when it goes on sale, or you get it used
- free online multiplayer; unlike the Xbox 360/Xbox One/PS4, the PS3's PlayStation Network is completely free-of-charge. You can play in a ton of games that offer online multiplayer for free without having to purchase a membership.
- At the same time, PS Plus is a paid membership that offers exclusive perks like: FREE games EVERY month (kind of like Netflix, but the selection is more limited and changes every month), extra discounts on games when they go on sale, and exclusive access to betas and full trials of games. It's definitely worth every penny; you can honestly get PS Plus with a PS3 and not have to buy any other games. PS Plus is also cross-compatible, meaning you also get games for the PS Vita and PS4.
CONS:
- there is no IR sensor, so it's not compatible with universal remotes unless you buy an adaptor/dongle by Logitech
- UI or User Interface leaves a lot to be desired (i.e. it could be better). Because this is now a console that is going on 8 years old, the user interface can seem quite clunky and laggy at times. This is because the Operating System of the PS3 evolved over the years to meet players' needs, but system hardware did not (obviously). There is not enough memory or RAM to dedicate to just the UI, so concessions had to be made to the fluidity and responsiveness of the console.
- PlayStation Store also suffers from the hardware limitation; it looks nice though
- No universal party chat (this is a feature on the new PS4, but requires a PS Plus membership to play online now)
All in all, the PS3 is an amazing system, and can provide thousands of hours of entertainment. It's definitely still got a few years left, and support for it won't be going away anytime soon.

"Bed of Nails" is a really inaccurate name for this product. This isn't a tool just for magicians or circus performers, it's for anyone who would like a relatively inexpensive way to get the same relaxed feeling one gets from massages and to de-stress. It is an acupuncture/acupressure mat; the sharp points aren't actually made from nails, but from hard plastic that are shaped into protruding spikes. Though uncomfortable at first, when you lie on it for 10-20 minutes at a time and focus on your breathing, the sensation of all your nerves being stimulated can become quite euphoric.

You can buy them on eBay (as I did) or from online resellers.

It's an older-generation system now (new/current gen. systems include: PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U), and the Wii U actually is backwards compatible with all Wii games (meaning any Wii game can be played on the new Wii U), so it may be better to wait for a sale on the new Wii U to allow you to both play new and old games.
Nevertheless, if you can find a Wii for a decent price, it can definitely still be worthwhile. It's a great party system and while some may consider it somewhat obsolete now, the Wii can be great to have as backup entertainment at the cottage or even on vacation/in the hotel.

- cheap - easy to make/convenient; just pour the pouch's contents into a bowl, add water, and zap it in the microwave for a minute or two - can also be found in variety packs (2-3 of different flavours)

I actually had the Night time version of this product (mostly the same but without the SPF) and have to say, after about a few weeks of using the product, I did find my face was more even in skin tone. However, the amount included in each product is quite small, and without a coupon or sale, I would not recommend buying this. A simple Alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) -based lotion would achieve the same results, but at a more affordable price. -
