I received this product as part of the Maybelline Dream Velvet package, and as part of the Chick Advisor review club. I usually use my own kind of sponges for blending foundation, and don't think too much of it. When I received this blender to try with the foundation, I didn't think it would be any different than a regular sponge. It helped blend the foundation really well, and I felt it helped get into the spaced under the eyes and around the nose for a more even application. I liked the sponge, but I don't think I would go out of my way to buy it to be used with this foundation. But it was a neat tool to use. -

I was selected to try the Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club. I was super excited to try this foundation, as I was looking for a new one, since the currently Rimmel product I am using is leaving my skin very oily. It came with a blender sponge that I have never seen before, but was excited to try as well. The foundation went on very light and left my skin matte which is great, because I hate having shiny skin. It covered all the little imperfections really well, and my skin looked really even, which I was super happy with. I have been using it now for almost a week, and am extremely happy with the results. It definitely left my skin looking silky and velvety smooth. -

We eat these homefries with breakfast at least twice per week on the weekends. These are our go to breakfast potatoes. They are crispy and very tasty. They cook up really quick, and can be done on the stove or in the oven. I also love to add them to an egg omelette for extra taste. I like how they aren't too greasy. Definitely one of my families favorite breakfast items! -

They are full of flavour and quite tasty. They are also a really great price, and we buy them every week for meals. These are also great for a little snack if someone is hungry. -

I got to try this Brookside Chocolate Tablet, as part of the Chick Advisor Product review club. As part of the 3 tablets I received to try from Brookside, this was my least favorite. I love the combination of blueberry and chocolate, but this one was not that great. I did not get the taste of blueberry at all, only the taste of bitter dark chocolate. It needed something else, like something crispy or crunchy. This one just tasted like a regular dark chocolate bar. It was good, but not the first one I would pick. It was good quality dark chocolate, but the flavor did not really come through. -

I got to try the Brookside Chocolate Tablet in Tart Cherry Crisp, along with the other 2 bars. This one was my second favorite one. I liked how it started off sweet, and you could really taste the cherry even through the bitter dark chocolate taste. I couldn't really taste pomegranate, I think it kinda got a bit lost amongst the cherry flavor. Other than that, I thought it tasted great. Im usually not a big cherry fan in chocolate, but the taste was pretty good. I think I would've preferred if it was more of a pomegranate taste instead of cherry, but still good. -

I got to try the Brookside Chocolate Tablet in Mango Coconut crunch. I'm not really a big dark chocolate fan, but I LOVE love coconut, so I decided to give it a chance. I find dark chocolate bitter and kinda tasteless. This bar was the total opposite! I loved how it had chewy pieces of sweet mango, and that it had crispy pieces of coconut. I was in heaven! It was so good. It felt like I was being indulgent and having something that was bad for you, but in fact it was really good, and tasty! The chocolate in combination with the mango and coconut was not bitter at all, it was sweeter than the other 2 bars from Brookside. This one is definitely my favorite of the 3. -

At the time I received this product to try out as part of the ChickAdvisor review club, my baby was just starting solid foods. I introduced this baby cereal with some pureed fruit so he would enjoy it a bit more. Overall my baby was not a huge fan of baby cereal, and this one was no different. It really wasn't much different than the other brands we tried, and he did not eat. I guess the only plus side is that its organic, but I don't think its worth paying more for. For us skipping cereal, wasn't a big deal. -
