A couple weeks ago, I received the Roche Posay Micellular Water to test and review. The box was small, but very heavy. Once I opened it, I saw that I received a full-sized product. And wow, is it a big bottle! I'm sure it is going to last quite a long time. That night, I used the water to wash my face for the first time. I couldn't find any specific instructions on the bottle indicating how it should be applied, how much to use, or even if I was supposed to wash it off with regular water afterwards. Since I am an adult, I decided to use my best judgement. I applied enough of the micellular water to nearly soak a cottonball and proceeded to wash my whole face with it. I have to admit that I wasn't really expecting a whole lot - I mean, it's water, isn't it? My makeup came off easily and I needed to use another cottonball to get all of my waterproof mascara off. Yes, you read that right. The micellular water actually removes waterproof mascara without a fight! After my face dried, I could feel a difference in my skin right away. It went from being dry to being soft. It was a gentle cleansing without removing any layers of my skin and it made a big difference compared to using an exfoliant. I decided to skip the moisturizer for that one time, just to see how long the effect would last.
The next morning, my skin was still much softer than before, so I washed my face with the product again before applying makeup. My foundation went on without any flakiness, and my lashes didn't clump together. Very neat!
Although the micellular water would be considered unscented, I kinda wish that it had a slightly more appealing scent. Sometimes a clean smell is more appealing to the senses than "unscented" because we all know that there is no such thing as "no scent".
But other than the scent and missing instructions, I am totally in love with this product! I am so thankful to have received it - micellular water has completely improved my dry winter skin!

This is, by far, my most favorite mascara! It even coats the lashes so it doesn't look clumpy, even with 2 coats. It stays on very well but washes off easily with soap and water (or eye makeup remover). It dries quickly. I like it better than any high-end brand I've tried. You really can't beat the quality of this mascara, especially at this price range. And, there are more fl. oz. in it than many of the other brands, so you get more bang for your buck. I would rather pay full price for this product than get something else on sale, any day! The only thing I would prefer is if Rimmel didn't test on animals. I'd be willing to pay an extra few bucks for that reassurance. -

I had high hopes for this foundation. I love many Maybelline products, but I was sadly disappointed with this one. First, there is no way that it would last for 24 hours. Within 4 hours it has already started to wear off significantly, with little activity. Second, it has dried my skin out, so when I do put it on, it looks terrible - flaky, uneven, blech. And finally, for a "super stay" makeup it is surprisingly thin (ie. light coverage), not the thick coverage you'd expect it to be. I'm not a big fan of the "Fit Me" foundation either and the "Super Stay 24-Hour Makeup" seems to be almost exactly the same. -

Oh my. YUM! I loved this new combo of cranberries and blackberries. You'd think the cranberry taste would overpower the blackberry, but it didn't. I really enjoyed this bar. The price is a little expensive, but with Brookside you know that you're getting quality. I love that it is gluten-free, and non-GMO, so to me, it makes it worth paying a bit more. Honestly, I would have loved to have a bit more chocolate on the bar, but that is just my personal taste, as I love chocolate. -

I try to eat organic as much as possible, and often non-GMO products don't have quite as much taste as their "regular" counterparts. Before I received the product, I was kinda expecting it to be more of a chocolate bar with pieces of fruit and grains, so I was surprised to find that they are a kind of granola bar. First, I loved the cherry flavor. It was authentic cherry, not the artificial candy cherry flavor, which I was really glad to see. However, I would have preferred to have more of the dark chocolate on this bar, as the cherry and pomegranate was quite strong and easily overpowered the dark chocolate. That chocolate is the main reason why I purchase Brookside products - it is one of the best dark chocolates I've ever tasted. So overall, I will most likely purchase this product again, as it is gluten-free and non-GMO, plus the taste and the good price, it simply beats the competition. -

Before I received the product, I was kinda expecting it to be more of a chocolate bar with pieces of fruit and grains, so I was surprised to find that they are a kind of granola bar. I loved the taste of the blueberry and acai berry which wasn't overpowering. I especially loved that it tasted like real berries and not the artificial blueberry flavor that most products use. I'm not sure how the price compares to similar products, but since they are quite filling, and obviously delicious, it would be well worth the cost. -

Today was the first time I've tried the "Original" kind. I'd always picked up the Tropical or Blush because I figured the Original might have either no smell or a harsh smell, but I decided to pick some up when my Blush bottle was all gone. And I'm glad I did! Batiste is pretty much the ONLY brand I will use, and I think the Original is now my favorite, just because the smell is great and not overbearing at all. I have long, thin hair that gets oily within just a few hours of washing, so I use dry shampoo every 2nd day, and sometimes a few days in a row if I have somewhere to go at night. It has saved me so much time and effort. I personally like to use a little bit of the XXL Volume for up-dos since it makes your hair tangle very easily. The only reason why my review isn't 5/5 is because at $10 a can, it gets kinda pricey, especially since I have to buy one every 2 weeks. -

Bought this when it was on sale for Black Friday. It is THE BEST product I've ever used for cleaning the floors. It heats up very quickly and you can see all the grime it picks up that you can't get by using a regular mop or even scrubbing on hands and knees. I can do the whole house in less than 20 minutes. Having a a 2.5 year old AND a new puppy in the house means that we have a lot of accidents on the floor. This product has saved us sooo much time, energy, and money, as it means we don't have to use as many (potentially harmful) cleaning products or paper towels. -

The only thing that I find is that it doesn't last very long (a couple of hours) but that is pretty standard for this type of product. I have yet to find a powder that doesn't need to be reapplied every couple of hours. I use the one for oily skin during the summer and the one for normal/dry skin during the winter. -

I get very dry skin on small patches over my body on occasion. I had some on my cheeks recently that my regular creme wasn't helping with. On the advice of the pharmacist, I bought SkinFix. The first time I tried it, I thought it was amazing. But within a couple of days my skin was drier than before! I hated the oily feeling it left behind and it started giving me bad acne wherever it was applied (even on my upper arms!) It is now sitting in my medicine cabinet with over 80% of the product left, and I can't imagine that I will ever use it again. Very disappointed. -
