COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Weightless Water Cream™
I enjoyed trying to is now lotion. It absorbed nicely into my skin with no greasy feeling afterwards. My only negative comment was that the sample was quite small so I’m not sure I can give it a proper review for long term benefits

I was chosen by ChickAdvisor to review the Adrien Gagnon Super Energex program.
I liked the easy to use packaging. There was no worries that you would not be taking the right dosage. I followed the recommendation of my peers to mix it with orange juice. Mixing with water does not mask the flavour at all and is a little harder to get down!
I'm not sure if there was a huge change in my energy levels. I did find that it made me much more aware of what food choices and exercise I was living everyday. It was a great way to start taking steps to better health.
I'm not sure that I would buy the product again. I didn't find that the results were great and noticeable enough to commit to using/purchasing on a future basis. It did make me more aware of what I am eating and encouraged me to start take healthier steps

I was thrilled when Chick Advisor chose me to review the Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars. It came at the perfect time as I had just begun the steps towards a healthier me.
The bars are quick and convenient. Fitting perfect in your purse, it's a great way to keep control of your appetite and eliminate the spontaneous bingeing.
I am not a huge chocolate lover so for future I would probably purchase different flavour options. I wasn't totally pleased with the texture of the bars. Sometimes it felt like there was a weird slight aftertaste. Overall, it managed those fast, hungry moments with a quick, healthy alternative. I found that it really helped to satisfy hunger between meals.

I was excited to be a part of the ChickAdvisor Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer campaign. I must confess to being a little lazy when it comes to my skin care routine. I took this opportunity to commit to the review period and see if there was any noticeable changes. The first thing that I noticed and appreciated was the light scent. As a long time sufferer of sensitive skin, I find so many products are heavily scented that cause an immediate reaction. This moisturizer had a light pleasant scent as well as a light texture. A little amount goes a long way which makes it even more appealing as a cost conscious consumer.
Within a few days I noticed that my skin appeared smoother and was softer to the touch. I can't honestly say that I will continue to use it on a regular basis, but I will say that I really enjoyed everything about this product and would recommend it to anyone interested in adding a moisturizer to their daily skin regime. From one sensitive skin user to another, I can say that I had no reaction or side effects to using this product. Garnier has once again proven their commitment to quality and the consumer.

I was happy that ChickAdvisor chose me to be included in the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water campaign. I do not wear a lot of makeup, but I seldom leave my house without eyeliner and mascara. You receive a nice large bottle that should last a long time when used as directed. There is little to no scent which was comforting to a sensitive skin person like myself. The water was easy to apply using a cotton swab and I did not feel like it left any residue or oily feeling after application. My only complaint was that I found trying to remove my black eyeliner and mascara took a lot of scrubbing and washing.
I think that for consumers that use little to no makeup, especially when wearing colours OTHER than blacks, this would be great, effective product. For myself personally, I found that the amount of cotton swabs and rubbing I had to use to achieve the desired results was more than I am willing to commit for the future. Personally I have had easier success with alternate products. I do feel that it is a quality product that leaves your skin clean and clear after use. I also appreciate that I had no reaction to the products with my sensitive skin.
It's a very reasonable price for a significant amount of product. Garnier once again proves that it is a company committed to providing quality products

I was really happy to be chosen to review the Nutrience Dog food for ChickAdvisor. I was given the Fraser Valley blend. This grain free product includes fresh deboned chicken, turkey, pacific salmon, herring & cod. My dog, like many other pets, is a cherished member of our family. As he is only 6lbs, different foods can make his stomach very upset. During this review period, he was also diagnosed with heart disease and all but stopped eating anything due to the medication. I took a small handful of the dog kibble in the hopes that he might eat. He inhaled it! I quickly got up to get more and had the same effect! He has had zero side effects from switching his food and he loves it more with each passing day. I love that it has real ingredients that you can pronounce and understand. I am thrilled to find a Canadian based company that prides itself on providing real ingredients instead of "fillers". I have switched to Nutrience from our previous brand of "Go" that he had been on for the past six years. This brand is better, more natural, and something that he loves. I am so thankful for ChickAdvisor and Nutrience for getting my little man back eating and enjoying meal times. Huge thumbs up! -

I felt so lucky to be chosen by ChickAdvisor to review Brookside chocolate Blueberry Almond with Acai flavour. Brookside uses high quality chocolate that you taste the high quality ingredients the moment you bite into a bar. I'm not a huge fan of dark chocolate, but enjoyed the rich, deep chocolate taste. The bar has been studded throughout with pieces of almond, adding a textural layer. I was a little disappointed in the amount of almonds, as they are very small pieces and their flavour doesn't really come through the rich, dark chocolate. Sweetened dried blueberries provide a light blueberry taste, but again, the flavours are somewhat lost in the chocolate.
I think the dark chocolate was simply to overpowering for the other flavours to come through. Although you could occasionally taste blueberry or almond, it was predominantly a chocolate flavoured chocolate bar. I'm not sure I would purchase again and I found some of the other varieties more enjoyable.
That being said, I am never one to turn down a high quality chocolate bar! :)

I was excited to try this variety of Brookside chocolate because I LOVE cherries! Thanks to ChickAdvisor, I was sent all three varieties to review. I may have liked this variety more if it had been milk chocolate instead of dark. That being said, the dark chocolate was smooth and rich. You could tell that you were eating a good quality chocolate. There are small pieces of sweetened dried cherries throughout the bar, but the chocolate seemed to overpower any cherry flavour trying to come through. I enjoyed the added layer of texture that came with the addition of crisp rice. I wasn't able to distinguish any pomegranate flavour in the bar. It is a great tasting, high quality chocolate bar, I just think they need to invest a little more time bringing the flavours of cherry and pomegranate out. -

Delicious dark chocolate, speckled with dried sweetened mango, coconut, and crisp rice. The taste of coconut and mango nicely come through the chocolate. The chocolate bars has bite sized chunks of dried mango, big enough to clearly identify what it is that you are eating. I appreciated the crisp rice that provide another texture to enjoy. It was a delicious combination of flavours that made you feel like you were indulging in decadence.
I intend to purchase this chocolate bar again and again. I found the price range ($3.69) to be very reasonable given the quality of ingredients in the chocolate bar. This was my first experience with Brookside chocolates and I am excited to try all of the different varieties.

McCain spicy wedges are a staple in my home. Being that they are wedges, the edges get nice and crispy as they bake, yet the middle is still soft. I am a huge wimp when it comes to spicy foods, but these fries I can eat without any trouble. I like to think of them as more savoury than spicy.
The seasoned wedges require no tweaks or additions. Add a side of ketchup and you are set! I have experimented with my wedges and found that they work great as the base for poutine.
Not only does the product taste great, but McCain products regularly go on sale which makes it economical as well! I appreciate the fact that McCain has given me a quality product that fits my budget, keeps health in mind, and can be served to a hungry family of six in no time flat!
