I am transitioning to the Curly Girl Method for my hair and let me tell you this product is a game changer. It has added such great hydration to my locks and doesn't seem to weigh my hair down or leave my hair feeling greasy. I was looking for a good conditioner that was relatively inexpensive, and since I am trying out a new haircare method I didn't want to break the bank while doing so. This conditioner checks all the boxes, I will definitely be buying it again. -

I got to try the Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam with Coconut Milk. The soft coconut scent was very nice but I have to say the product left me a bit disappointed and wanting for more. Although I feel I really pushed the product to its limits by using it on post hot yoga hair. I feel that it may have potential to just extend a wash day. I do plan on purchasing the product again as a quick refresh for after my workouts as it is definitely better than dry shampoo for those instances.

I received the Mott's Fruitsations* +Fibre Unsweetened Mango Peach for free in exchange for my honest opinion of the product from family rated.
Personally I am not a fan of any apple sauce but this one was a big hit in my family, especially with our littlest one who is a huge applesauce fan.
I love that this product is unsweetened and also is full of fibre. It goes great any time of day or as a quick snack in between meals. I will definitely be buying it again.

The Premier Protein Caramel Shake is like having a treat. It has a wonderful rich caramel taste without the regular chalky protein shake after taste. This product really surprised me with its wonderful taste I was expecting it to be much like many other protein shakes I’ve tried in the past. It makes a great post workout snack with 30g of protein and 1g of sugar. It was rather filling when I drank it however the feeling did not last for hours. I highly recommend giving this flavour and product a chance if you are looking for a great tasting protein shake.

I tried the Premier Protein Chocolate Shake and to be honest it really wasn’t my favourite flavour. When trying the other flavours I had high hopes for the Chocolate but it really did fall short. While there wasn’t the usual chalky taste that you get from other protein shakes; it still had a very fake chocolate flavour. I’m not usually a fan of chocolate flavoured things and really do prefer the real thing. I found the protein shake to be otherwise fairly filling but it didn’t keep me full for a long time. If you can get over the taste it makes a great meal replacement or post-workout snack with 30g of protein and 1g of sugar. However I will not be purchasing this flavour in the future.

Thanks to Chick Advisor for sending me a sample of Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield for my honest opinion. Between regularly highlighting my hair, hot yoga and being in a pool I am always looking for a good leave-in treatment that doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it look greasy between washes. I have found this product to be a nice lightweight daily leave-in that checks both of those boxes. I will definitely be using this product again. -

I tried a sample of Joico Defy Damage Shampoo for free, in exchange for my honest opinion. When it comes to shampoos, it’s nothing overly special. It smells nice, but whether it actually does anything to protect my hair from damage isn’t overly apparent. I have tried other Joico shampoos in the past that seem to leave my hair softer, however it leaves my hair feeling clean and smelling great. It really seems to fall short in comparison to the other products in the Defy Damage line though. I’d be willing to use it again but am in no rush to go and buy it. -

It couldn’t have been a better time to try out Joico Defy Damage Protective Masque, thanks to Chick Advisor. I regularly have my hair highlighted, which leaves my hair feeling dry every now and again. In the summer months I’m mainly in and out of the pool and this takes an added toll on my hair. This masque really does its job. I have noticed that my hair is less brittle and I’ve had less breakage in just over a week of use. I don’t normally use a hair masque but I highly recommend trying this product. -

I received a sample of Joico Defy Damage Protective Conditioner from Chick Advisor for my honest opinion on the product. I have been using it for over a week, in conjunction with the remainder of the #DefyDamage line. The conditioner is very rich and leaves my hair feeling silky smooth. The number one take away from this is that a little really does go a long way, that’s why even though I #gotitfree I still rated it 5 stars for value. I’m a huge fan of Joico products and think I have found a new favourite conditioner -

I bought a bottle of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Color in the shade of 243 Make it Snappy! It’s such a lovely shade of light pink with a metallic sheen. Although that is the only thing it has going for it. The product is very thin and does not cover well requiring a few coats. It seems to dry quickly but I still left extra time between coats just in case. Even with ample drying time the finish does not stay smooth, and the polish seems to chip easily. I have this product such a poor rating based on the quality and finish of the nail colour. Which took away from the value as well. I would have been better off to not have polish on at all. I believe Sally Hansen has changed their formula with their change in look as I’ve tried what they used to call the “Insta-Dri Fast Dry” formula in the past and really liked it. Sadly, I do not see myself buying this again, I don’t think it was even worth the sale price. -
