Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder
I love this powder. It was recomended to me through a sephora consultant and wasn't too sure about it considering it was white. I'm pale as it is and i didn't need anything to amplify that lol It sets my foundation wonderfully and lasts... +
I love this powder. It was recomended to me through a sephora consultant and wasn't too sure about it considering it was white. I'm pale as it is and i didn't need anything to amplify that lol It sets my foundation wonderfully and lasts a longtime. No need to reapply mid day and i have fairly oily skin. Keeps everything in its place.
Applies easily with a powder brush(not included). I found the easiest way is to tap some into the lid and use the brush to lightly sweep across the face. It gives a soft look rather than a powdery, overdone look which is nice. I have porceline skin and it matches and my fried had a very dark tan and she can use it too
Works well with all skin tones and lasts a very long time. Its a little pricey but considering the wonders it has done for my face i recomend it to all my friends

Lets start at the begining... I was never one for anything fancy for my face. I figured if it moisturizes than its doing its job. I have combo skin that borders on dry during the winter and gets greasy about halfway through the day. I tried changing foundations, primers, powders, pretty much everything and i was about to give up. I went into a sephora store and explained my issues and this product was recomended and i figured "well, why not".
Now for the product itself. Very little goes a very long way. It spreads well with just a small amount and soaks in almost immediately! I was incredibly surprised. It moturizes so well that i haven't ever had a problem all winter with those pesky dry spots i get on my cheeks EVERY year! Its non greasy and sets quickly ad so well that i can start my makeup regimine almost immediately after applying which is also amazing considering my tight schedual.
The outcome?... Its callled a balancing moisturizer which i didn't understand until i used it. I could tell within only a week how my complextion had changed. I break out less and don't have a problem with mid-day oilslicks on my face anymore have been using it for over a month now and have only great reveiws about it.
Also for all those girls with sensitve face issues this product is totally natural. What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Dyes
- Petro-Chemicals
- Phthalates
- GMO
- Triclosan
Korres Pomegranate Balancing Moisturizer had been the best product i have ever found and added to my not so little make up bag :)

I found that the minis lasted quite awhile for me and with so many to choose from i can get ANY look i want and have all the different kinds there when i need it. The set comes with :

It has the same effect as the regular but the stain in it is absolutley horrible! It doesn't go on right most times and doesn't last long at all. I found that the minute my lips pressed together all the colour ran to the inside rim of my mouth giving me that childish " i just ate a red popsicle" look. I just hate it. Thank god Sephora has a return policy cuz i'm never gonna use this product again! -

I have always been a girl who buys drugstore makeup but was getting tired of the flimsy, fall off my lid by luchtime routine i was used to. This was my first good quality eyeshadow i ever bought! The price seemed a little steep but i needed a black eyeshadow that wouldn't go on so sheer it looked grey. I tested the black(which happens to be called lucifer) from the sample they had out and it came off almost creamy but it was definatley a powder. I thought ok why not lol
So because i was so used to drugstore brands and having to put so much on to ill effect, that when i tried this one out i ended up putting WAAYYY too much on! It took me a bit to figure out how much i like and the effect i want but now that i have it figured (it only took me a few applications) theres no stopping me! It goes on great blend very well and has a great base/highlighting shadow in it also( which is called tequila) It looks smooth when on and blended and i use most of the colours as an eyeliner too :) I loved this pallette so much i ordered another palette from the Kat Von D line called Ludwig and i'm anxoiusly awaiting its arrival :) !!!

I just LOVE this product! I'm a very fair skinned woman and have a hard time getting colour to not look fake and trashy. I went into a Sephora store and asked a Consultant there about bronzers(i had never tried let alone bought one, even though most of my friends live by them). She actually showed me how to apply it and put it on me. And it was love at first brush stroke! Since then i have been recommending it to everyone i know lol
It goes on matte. So its nice and not overpowering with shimmer. I was warned from the start to apply small amounts and layer more if needed. And that techniquehas worked like a charm. I goes on great! I don't even need to blend it. I apply and don't worry about it because it looks completely natural.
But i have to say my FAVORITE part of it has to be the smel. It ahs a cocoa-y chocolate smell that isn't too much and it is just fantastic! When at the store the woman i spoke with also told me it TASTES like chocolate also! I didn't believe her until i brought it home to apply myself. I got it on my lip ( by accident, of course) and it does taste like Chocolate!
Basically this is the best thing i have ever owned in my make up arsenal! A natural bronzer with a wonderful chocolate smell, and taste ;) lol. I'm in heaven!!! And would and have recommended this to anyone who will listen
