I recently had the chance to try the Catelli® PROTEIN+™ pasta through a sample from Butterfly.com, and I was genuinely impressed. The pasta cooked perfectly al dente and had a classic taste that was almost indistinguishable from regular durum wheat pasta — a big win for a high-protein, plant-based option.
Each serving packs 19 grams of protein, which makes it a great addition to a balanced meal, especially for anyone looking to increase their plant-based protein intake. I also appreciated that it used a blend of wheat and pea protein without any strange aftertaste or overly dense texture, which can sometimes happen with protein-enriched pastas.
I tried the pasta with a simple garlic and vegetable sauté, and it held the sauce well without getting soggy or overly soft. It’s definitely a product I would buy again for its nutritional benefits and great taste.
