DOVE hair and body products are great and I've never had an issue with them! I loved the smell of the Dove volumizing gel, however unfortunately I didn't like the sticky texture it had on my hair. It didn't really do much for me. I tried styling my hair wet with it and then blow drying as well as vice versa, blow drying and then styling it a bit with the gel. It didn't help add volume to my hair. I would skip this gel, but keep using their soaps and shampoo! -

I love carrot cake and so far had a great tasting experience with McCain desserts so I was very excited to try this. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy as much as I wanted. This cake is definitely artificial tasting like powdery texture and the icing wasn't great. This is my least favorite McCain desserts!! However that being said, it could be I already have a higher standard in terms of carrot cakes as I usually buy them at my favourite bakery shop - they use real fresh ingredients and the icing is homemade cream cheese. In addition, it's not very sweet like the McCain one. So I wouldn't recommend it. -

Great vanilla cake from McCain - I polished the whole cake by myself in 3 days! The cake was sweeten with the icing, and very moist texture which was lovely when it melts into my mouth. If you're not a chocolate fan, this vanilla version is great!

I usually prefer freshly baked apple pies, however due to my busy schedule, I don't have the time to bake. So I buy them instead. I decided to test out the frozen one - McCain Apple Pie. I ate it with my favourite homemade vanilla ice cream at Farm Boy. It was so yummy and melted in my mouth. I loved it! For the price and a frozen product, it was great! -

First I'd like to say thanks to ChickAdvisor for giving me the chance to try Adrien Gagnon Super Energex. I have a pretty hectic schedule as I work in a health related field thus have irregular hours and stressful work schedule. I usually feel fatigued even after 6-8 hours of sleep during my days off. It's due to constant adjusting to new time, stresses and environment, etc... Usually getting up for work is fine, but since I work long hours sometimes at some point during the shift, I feel so tired and lack of energy. Anyways, I was excited to try it. The packaging is interesting but like any other energy supplements. After opening it, I noticed a very distinct herbal smell, which was an unpleasant scent to be honest. I tried it with water as suggested - didn't like although it did wake me up for a bit due to the strong smell and taste. I also tried it with my warm tea - it still didn't taste as good. I managed to drink it all though to ensure its effectiveness. Anyways, I did not really noticed any differences in my energy level. I think I will stick to my usual regimen of smoothies and actual food and sleep for energy.
Since it didn't work for me, I don't recommend this product for anyone.

To be frank, I did not have high expectations as from past experiences, I did not enjoy eating meal replacement bars. I had a look at the nutritional content as well as the ingredients - it appears to be packed with tons of vitamins, minerals and 15g of proteins! Sugar is not on the top of the list which was nice to see. The packaging was visually appealing and easy to open. I tried the bar as my breakfast replacement alongside my avocado mango smoothie - it tasted densely chocolate-ty, a bit crunchy, but unfortunately I did not really like the taste. I found it weird sweet tasting. My smoothie tasted ALOT better and I don't add honey nor sugar to my smoothie! However, it did with my smoothie fill me up for 4 hours. So I figured it's light and not as filling on it's own. Therefore I decided to try on it's own during my next breakfast - I was right it didn't fill me up much. I was hungry 1-2 hours later. I feel that this is more of a snack than an actual meal. I think I'll just stick with my breakfast smoothie! -

I usually buy the regular Peppermint Mocha, which I loooooovvveeee!!!! When I decided to go on a diet, I needed to cut down my sugar consumption by ALOT! Thus I gave this Skinny Peppermint Mocha a shot as it has much less calories and sugar than the regular. Peppermint and Chocolate is my favourite combination of a heavenly espresso drink! The Skinny drink contains espresso, steamed nonfat milk, sugar free mocha sauce, and sugar free peppermint. In addition, I forgo the whipped cream option. After a few sips, it was too light for me. It tasted very much different than the regular. I think my excitement and high expectation was too much as I am so used to the regular Peppermint Mocha. i really wanted to like it, but unfortunately it did't do for me. -

I was heading to Cuba for vacation thus needed a day cream with SPF and I found this at the store at a decent price and decided to get it. I have sensitive skin, thus I hoped this one actually worked. it comes in a nice packaging and does not take a lot of space. The texture is thicker and greasier than I expected, which I did not like as it's usually better to use thicker creams during winter months and gel-like textures during the summer months. Anyways, it did its job in moisturizing my skin, but I broke out easily due to the heat and sweat. The texture was too thick. Later I decided to use less of it on my face, which made it a bit better. I mainly bought it due to its SPF, which did protect me from getting sunburnt! However, it didn't protect me from getting acne and bumps on my face. I wouldn't recommend it during the summer months. I think it's better for during the winter months. Personally there are much better nourish day creams with SPF. -

I decided to use this cleansing cream in combination with the Nivea toner. I usually use the cleansing cream during my nighttime routine. I simply apply and gently massage it to my face with my hands. It gave me a nice gentle cleansing sensation. I felt refreshed with smooth, clear and silky skin. It didn't dry out my skin, which was great. However, after multiple uses, I started breaking out a bit. It made my skin feel oily, so I stopped using it and then my skin went back to normal. That's too bad. I'm guessing the texture is too thick and the beads are not good for my skin. To be frank, there are better cleansing cream products out there, I will stick to my usual rice water brand which keeps my skin looking fresh and healthy. -
