Flavour is subjective - so take this review for what it's worth. Did I like the product, nope. But will others, very likely. I found the sauce to have a sour taste, whereas others might enjoy it. Receiving product as part of the Chickadvisor program is always exciting and I've kept this one in the fridge in case guests might like to try it! Great quality, great ingredients, but just not for me. -

I have been on the hunt for a new foundation - something that works well with my combination skin, is a solid colour match, that blends well and can be layered for more coverage if/as needed. I am really starting for the first time ever (in my early 30's) to be more and more interested in makeup techniques. But first, the basics - which for me - is foundation.
This foundation said all the right things. Great for sensitive skin. Hey, they even say "Make up that's good for you". AND they call the product "Flawless Liquid Foundation". So here's how my journey started and ended after giving it several attempts.
Went to Beauty Boutique. Browsed allll the options. Found this. Excited! Looked at colours. Fell in love with W4 soft sand. Checked it. Double checked it with a "beauty advisor". We agreed. Felt nice when testing in store, but was just one small spot. Believed the packaging and claims. Went home, went to bed excited for my morning routine.
This is where it fell apart.
Showered. Cleansed. Primed. Applied foundation with blending sponge. When trying to bounce the product on, found that it was TAKING OFF the product that was dry while adding more. Ok. Stop, reset... What could be happening. Grabbed my fave Neutrogena wipe to start over. SKIPPED the primer thinking maybe they weren't compatible. Same thing happened. Ok. Apply with brush instead! Aha! Perhaps this is better. Attempted... attempted... Clock ticking. Settled with what I was able to achieve. Set with powder. Out the door.
Lived with it for the day. The saving grace was that the colour was right (even tho it did dry about 1-2 shades DARKER than I thought... thanks oxidization).
Attempt 2: Smart ol' me made attempt 2 at night after work when the clock wasn't ticking... Still no luck. Patchy product literally coming off while trying to apply it.
Attempt 3: Next morning routine. Applied it once. No luck. AT ALL. Again, had no other option but to just cover the mess of foundation with some powder and head to the office.
I'm done. It's going back. I'll also mention that after this debacle I looked for reviews on YouTube and SO MANY PEOPLE SAY the SAME thing.
Save yourself the hassle. Thankfully Shoppers has a 30 day return policy. This baby is going back. Two serious thumbs down.

I'm not usually picky about mascara. I have sensitive eyes and find that if I routinely replace my mascara (keeping one for a month, or month and a half max), it avoids any eye irritation. Not a scientific explanation, but works for me! I tend to buy only drug store brands as after trying numerous high end options, found no difference. Maybelline is a go to for me and I was excited to try this one out a while back. It's good, but not great. I like the brush but in the end found that the product was really wet and as a result, my lashes clumped together. -

I received the DOVE® GO FRESH COOL MOISTURE CUCUMBER & GREEN TEA SCENT BODY WASH in the Product Review Club. A beautiful package arrived in the mail and I couldn't wait to try it out. I have never actually tried the Dove Body Wash before and I really enjoyed it. The creamy texture was nice. I didn't find it moisturized my skin very much but I typically use a moisturizer after the shower anyway. Best part about it was the smell. -

The narrow tip makes it easy to apply in a precise way. Apply a little or a lot, depending on your look/hair colour/desired fullness. Impressed with the $36 price point (Shopper's Beauty Boutique).

I have tried MANY foundations over the years. Everything from Lise Watier (which was the winner for a while), to Mac. to NYX... The list goes on. My combination skin has always caused trouble with makeup for me - makeup would almost fall off of the oily areas, and flake off the dry.
In full transparency, it's been ONE day of using Superbalanced Foundation from Clinique but I can tell you that it's game changing. My skin feels fresh hours after applying. AND to top if off they actually had a light colour that didn't look yellow on my skin (Alabaster for the win)!
Highly recommend. At the price point $34 for 30mL at Shopper's Drugmart Beauty Boutique, it's on par with even the mass-cosmetic brands that just can't compete with the quality.

I was at Costco yesterday afternoon. I'm not alone - everyone LOVES Costco sampling (especially just before lunchtime). My hubbs and I managed to snag a guac sample and with one bite I was convinced that I needed to buy some to take home.
Good Foods Guacamole is CHUNKY!!! Other leading store-bought guac is blended, more of an avocado puree. This one is not and is the closest I have ever found to home made.
Three plastic containers (10 oz each) for $13.99 was a steal. Again, comparing to leading store-bought brands, the price is more than reasonable, and even better when you taste the difference.
I can't believe how passionate about guac I am!

Anyone - this product is AMAZING and had no idea I needed it until I tried it. The colour is so perfect. I have dark hair but am always surprised how many colours of brown there are to TRY to match... This baby was perfect the first time and did what it says... If you push harder, the colour is darker... No brainer! I do believe this would work for MOST colours, but can't speak for the blondes out there!
So, colour - check!
The wax tip was new to me. Really didn't know what to expect. Well, I'll tell you. Eyebrow colour that lasts ALL day, while keeping the shape of your brow intact.
Absolutely LOVE!

I LOVE the iogo Greek yogurt pouch. We love making greek souvlaki kabobs marinated in delicious yogurt, fresh lemon juice, herbs and spices. Delicious every time! Not on that, but this yogurts rich, creamy flavour is perfect for home made tzatziki sauce. It's such a simple sauce to make but you need good quality ingredients to do it right. With iogo, it's farrrrr better than store bought sauce.
The format of this pouch makes it easy to keep fresh. I always give it a shake before using. Definitely recommend this one!
