I am a little on the fence about this one.
I tried fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream from a sample I received from Sephora. The sample was mighty small, I squeezed every last drop out of that thing. The cream felt nice and silky, and moisturized well. My skin was left feeling soft and smooth, and I felt no need to layer anything else on hours later. My skin did not look brighter or tighter or any other effects, but this is indeed a great moisturizer.
There is a big caveat. This cream has a VERY strong cucumber water smell. Not fresh "from the garden cucumber" smell either, but processed cucumber water/perfume/artificial scent smell. And it lasts too. If anyone is remotely sensitive they should be made aware. And cucumber is on the ingredient list, but only mid-way through, so I found that odd.
If you are ok with the scent, love it, or can get past it, this cream does what it advertises and would be a good cream for winter (though I would try to find it on sale!).

I tried Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer from a sample I received from Sephora.
Having had a bad experience with a squalane serum I was nervous, but this gel did not cause the same reaction (migraine). However, it did not give me any positive skin results.
I found that it did not absorb well and left a faint tackiness. My skin did not feel very moisturized either, I had to layer another product over this one. Gels don't always work well for me, so that could be why, but this isn't a cheap product so I was expecting more, even from a sample.
Overall, this did nothing for me and I wouldn't purchase a full-sized product. I rated it a 3 because it was actually bad either.

Chinotto has a distinct herbal/caramelly taste that is not for everyone. Don't buy a pack of these without trying them first. But if you get hooked you will love it.
Every company seems to have their own Chinotto recipe as well. I happen to love Brio's!

This mask smelled heavenly. Fresh and sweet and delightful. The scent was the best attribute and if it was a body spray I'd buy a bottle.
But as a mask it didn't perform well. It burned a little/tingled hard right above my lip at first, which faded after a while. It felt ok while on otherwise with extra liquid in the package that I used on my neck and upper chest. But when I took it off my face was slightly red, my skin didn't feel or look any different before or after I moisturized.
Overall it was a "meh" experience not worth repeating even though the mask was very affordable.

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb The Super Hydrating Mattifying Sheet Mask was a great sheet mask experience. It has green tea and hyaluronic acid in it.
The mask was a great fit, really soft, no tingles on my skin, and LOTS of extra liquid to bathe my neck and upper chest in. There was no particular scent to it, great for anyone with sensitivities. It felt nice and soothing to have on.When off, my skin looked brighter and felt hydrated. After moisturizing me skin felt very soft and I didn't feel any need to moisturize again for a very long time. I have no idea why it says it's mattifying though - that I did not see any signs of.
My one negative point to the mask, and I wonder if it's a Garnier "thing", is that it comes with a layer you peel off when you put the mask on. I find that unnecessary and wasteful. It would otherwise have 5 stars.

This ones burns a bit when you first out it on, or at least it did on my skin which can be sensitive. The burn fades to a tingling after a minute or two.
It did make my skin a bit brighter, and my skin felt very nice after moisturizing. But there are better sheet masks even within the Life Brand range.

Canada Dry Cranberry is a refreshing drink with a sweet yet tart taste.
This is a soda that is *ripe* for the holidays. The cranberry flavour pairs well with poultry and turkey, or any dish that normally incorporates cranberries, like a salad with goat cheese. Canada Dry Cranberry would make a good kid sparkly drink if your family is like mine and the kids want to do toasts along with the adults on special occasions.
It has a tart aftertaste, but it is definitely on the sweeter side. It tastes much better cold, it's not like traditional ginger ale where you can get away with leaving it out and enjoying it warm or a little flat. I tried making a slushy out of it, and it tasted amazing!
It's not the easiest to find in between holiday periods though, and the price can reflect that in some locations.
*I received #canadadrycranberry free to try as part of a review campaign from ChickAdvisor.

Voortman Almond Krunch Cookies are delightful almond cookies that are like sugar cookies flavored with almond extract, and then sprinkled with sugar and slivers of almond.
If you like almond extract, you will love these. If you don't, you won't. Don't be fooled by how closely they resemble normal sugar cookies, they really do have almond flavour.
They are good on their own and are very dunkable too!

I thought I would be able to take a picture, but they got eaten too quickly.
Voortman Cookies Oatmeal Raisin are delicious. They have a good salty/sweet ratio, so important with oatmeal cookies, and the right amount of raisins that are still a little plump.
For packaged cookies they are surprisingly soft too, and if you keep the package as airtight as possible they stay that way a long time and don't turn into rocks!
Good on their own, dunked in a warm beverage or as a snack with some apple slices (it's a thing for me). These are great store-bought oatmeal raisin cookies!

My family had a debate of Cadbury Mini Eggs vs "the other guys". Team Cadbury won. 😄
Cadbury mini eggs have a rich tasting chocolate interior. They may be milk chocolate eggs, but they are filled with quality milk chocolate. These are not the foil-wrapped eggs. The candy coating is pretty but also not chalky. It doesn't taste like much beyond a shell, but it was still pleasing.
A great Easter buy, and if kept sealed and stored properly they can be opened and enjoyed much later as well.
