I received a nice sized sample of L'Oréal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Rosy Tone Cream for review (not from Chickadvisor). At first I thought it was nice, it was creamy and my skin was a little rosier after applying it. Then I put it on one day after a somewhat steamier shower and I found out why. About 15 minutes after applying a normal amount, I had to blow my nose. The kleenex came away pink, the same colour as the cream! I was shocked. I checked and saw that my bathroom towels had pink streaks from where I'd dried my face after washing previous days. The cream had never fully absorbed and sat on my face like make up, not what it was purported to do, but what probably was what was meant to give the "rosy" glow. Thank goodness it washed out and didn't ruin the towels or I would be furious. While the cream felt nice, I felt deceived. Not cool. -

It comes off pretty clean and does not damage my nails, though I am careful to still pamper them afterwards. Best of all for me, I don't need to use a base coat or top coat, the color is decently pigmented, and it all dries fast. I bought most of the colors for the days I want a fast nail pick me up but know I will need a quick change in a couple of days. -

I first bought Essence the Gel nail polish from Shoppers Drug Mart on a whim because of the price, but with the base coat and top coat the nail polish went on so quickly, lasted longer than any nail polish ever lasted on my odd nails before, and came off like a breeze with regular nail polish remover. I ended up with just about every color Shoppers had in stock. I am super disappointed they switched up the formulations and product. Will have to try again with the new stuff if I can't hunt more of these down somehow! -

I discovered this product as a sample in a Clinique bonus bag years ago, and have been buying Clinique All About the Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage rollers ever since. A nice swipe in the morning after washing my face and the skin around my eyes not only looks nicer, it feels much better as well. A little trick is to put a bit on a clean finger and massage on any area of my face that also may have gotten puffy at night, because that will also help! LOVE this product! -

It's fast absorbing, so if you are like me and keep one at the office, in your purse, in a few rooms in the house, etc. because of dry skin, it will soothe and smooth quickly, with a great scent and keep working. I love having a dedicated hand and nail cream, and Vaseline Hand and Nails is tops! -
