Since its just down the street from the office, I've gone to Gourmand a few times since I started working at Chickadvisor.
Food: Mainly sandwiches salads fair but they do have pasta/entree specials too. I usually get either the prosciutto brie with pesto sandwich or the goat cheese salad. Both of which are delicious!
Drinks: Good latte, but I actually like coming here for the hot chocolate. Not sure why but it doesn't taste as choclatey when I order a larger size, so if you want to try it I recommend going for a small.
Baked goods: mmm its amazing here. Love their chocolate chip cookies (crisp but chewy on the inside)
Service: The people who work there are friendly but I find during lunch its a lot slower then one would want for an hour break. I don't expect a salad or sandwich to take that long to get made (Esp. since the sandwiches are premade)

I bought the 88 warm palette after hearing so many great things about the coastal scents palettes online. I didn't think the full colour one was practical for me (btu for the price I could have easily got both) since I wear neutrals for the most part. The shadows are very pigmented with only the lighter shadows (whites, cream, etc) being a bit on the chalkier side. This is a great palette for anyone who likes smokey eyes but also matte looks for the day. Only complaint is the case isn't super strong (I had some of the pans pop off during shipment) so its not travel friendly. I did see they have smaller travel sized palettes now which I might have to get! -
Revlon is probably my go-to brand for lip related products. Love their lipsticks, don't find them smelly and the colour range is impressive for a drugstore brand. I never pay the full price though I admit (usually get them when they go on sale)... +
Revlon is probably my go-to brand for lip related products. Love their lipsticks, don't find them smelly and the colour range is impressive for a drugstore brand. I never pay the full price though I admit (usually get them when they go on sale) since they can be almost $10 at some places and for that price you might as well get a higher end lipstick.
However, when on sale they are great! I own about 5 different ones. I do find the nude shades not to be as pigmented as one would like but the corals/reds look great.

Tried this out at the office for our transformation tutorial and I quite liked the concept of it. It's a felt tip style applicator with a sheer pigmented colour that applies on much like liquid eyeliner. The good and bad about this is that it's easy to build up since the colour isn't very strong at first. However, if you have dark brows like mine you do have to go over it quite a few times. I think this might also be due to the fact the colour we tried was a bit too light and warm brown (I think if it was darker and ashy this might not be as much of an issue).
Staying power was pretty decent, I went out to do groceries after and grab dinner. Held up till pretty much till the end of the night when I washed my wash (a bit of fading occurred).
Great for travel as its a compact pen you can just throw in your bag.

Bought the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in white today cause it was half price and I've wanted the white one for a while (never there all the other times I see it on sale!). Must say I was quite disappointed by this after all the wait. The white is not very opaque, quite watery in consistency. The idea of it is great but i think white out would look better then this. Def. would not recommend it for a french as the tip is far too thin for that to be effective.

Wore these to office the other day in grey and thought they were quite fab! I'm not usually a fan of coloured tights so grey is a change for my usual black and nude. Only complaint was due to the fact these are one size fits all, the crotch (lol!) wasn't as form fitted as I'd like. Felt like they were kinda slipping down as the day went on. Asides from that they were comfy and kept my legs warm. -

I went here last weekend with my boyfriend for dinner and had a great meal. I ordered the ahi tuna sandwich which was amazing. Really flavourful and it was cooked perfectly (just seared so still had that raw ahi tuna in the middle). The atmosphere is quite chic for a chain (reminds me of Moxie or milestones). The service was great and the wait time even during a busy evening was not bad (15 mins about).
Def. recommend for a nice date or a girl's night out for drinks

This is a gorgeous colour! Just got these bottles in the office and must say I'm impressed by the quality. Dry really fast, don't smell as nail polishy as usual since butter is known for reducing the chemicals in their polishes. It does have an interesting texture though I will say but I don't mind it. I think this colour would look great with a bit of gold glitter on top!
*Note: my photo does make it look more redish but its much more of a true coral

It gives a more natural, not clumpy and as the name says clean look. If you are looking for thickening though don't expect too much from this (better off going for volumnious).

Cute little new bubble tea shop down by Dundas/Bay. They are having a buy 1 get 1 free drink offer right now for their grand opening promotion. Love the shop, its small but service is great and I love how customizable the drinks are (particular amount of sugar and ice since I don't like ice in my bbt and I don't like it super sweet like most).
Great variety in toppings and flavours. Not as many fruity ones as other places I've seen but they got lots of milk options.
